First time I've been in here in years and forgot quite how good this place is, the fish supper was excellent and cooked to perfection the batter was top notch, the staff were really nice as well so don't hesitate to check this place out!

We were just visiting the area and fancied some fish and chips by the waterfront. The girl who served us was polite and I liked having an extra piece of fish as a choice. I really enjoyed the food and brought back some childhood nostalgia, really one of the best chippies I've had in a long time.

We had driven all the way out too Inverary but the price was outrageous out there so we drove back to Helensburgh and glad we found this wee gem of a chip shop and myself, my wife and kids loved every bite.
Definitely be back next time we're passing through!

This chip shop is an original feature in Helensburgh and is, in my opinion, easily, one of the best chip shops in Scotland. It's Italian owner prides himself in many years of experience in producing the most delicious food. The suppers are exactly as tasty as I remember 42 years ago when I was a child of 10 year old. Chips still done in dripping!! Stepping into the shop is like stepping back in time. Right on the seafront!! Reasonably priced and superb beyond belief!! I recommend!!

Last night of the holidays and we were looking for a tasty fish dinner to take back to the caravan. Lido did not disappoint! The food was tasty, the portions generous and the lady who served us was very nice. Thank you from a well fed, happy bunch.

The staff here were outstanding a very busy peak time. Its not often I compliment the chef and say he could be working in a Michelin star restaurant. Well done guys, super impressed. I'll be back !
