Lovely little restaurant. Nice staff and good food. Portion sizes definitely will fill up most, menu includes many different types of food. All in all, a good place to spend an evening with friends and family.

Very good, vibrant Italian restaurant in the centre of Helmsley.
We're not from the area so made reservations here based on the good reputation and we were so happy we did.
Really nice food. I tried grilled chicken main from the specials board with garlic butter and thoroughly enjoyed it.
Great atmosphere when we visited and the staff were very nice and great with our two young children.

A new discovery for us but I live this little, unassuming, rustic authentic Italian restaurant. The food is fabulous. The best "proper" Italian pizza I've had in year's - melts in your mouth proper thin dough. Some very nice fish options. Great atmosphere. My only criticism is it's a bit on the pricey side, especially if you fancy something off the specials. We will be returning without a doubt. Just wish it was in my home location and we didn't have to drive so far to enjoy a great pizza fix.

The restaurant is modern and cosy. We turned up at 8pm on a Friday night and we just managed to get a table. The service was great, and the staff were very helpful. The food was very tasty. Would really highly recommend.

One of the best Italian food places. I particularly like good range of traditionally stone oven baked pizza, but all the food is exquisite, and excellent value. The service is always courteous, but as previous reviews have mentioned get to it prior to 8.30pm as they close sometime after 9pm. Most people eat out around Ryedale between 6-8 so its never a problem.

Excellent meal and service, would highly recommend to all, as it so good would recommend booking in advance as we where luckly enough getting a table on spec. We tried to have a starter and main course , too much and cooked lovely.......we will be back.

It was a small & intimate restaurant, but full of character with ornaments hanging from the ceiling & pinnochio sitting in the window, a cherub hanging above one table etc, the atmosphere was aloud with people talking piped music flooded the restraunt but it was kept low, the food was good & large filling us until we could eat no more, loved the place.

We eat here once or twice a month as we live locally. The food is always good - when we started eating here we were blown away by the fantastc flavours and I think we've been spoilt and come to accept it as normal. Now when we go to other Italian restaurants we're often disappointed! Definitely an early evening place which is why it fills up quickly and I advise you to book - but then most eating places close at 9 in Helmsley.
