Nice food and friendly staff. Seemed busy and lots of locals popping in. The floor is very greasy/ slippy.
It was the price for me though, we came for fish and chips but once we sat down and saw the menu, we couldn't afford it but we didn't have the heart to walk out as the shop was busy. 2 adults and 3 kids. So we picked the cheaper options the menu and we paid £10 each adult for sausage and chips and I think it was £6.50 each child for sausage and chips. Plus the drinks. Very expensive sausage and chips

Always a good sign when there are queues out the door. We opted to eat in and staff were really helpful and friendly asking about our trip and recommending places for us. It was really nice to watch staff interacting with all their customers - obviously lots of regulars which is another excellent sign.
Food was really good. Highly recommend the peas and pea fritter!
Only lost 1 star as floor was quite greasy and slippy, especially by the bathroom.

£10.70 for medium cod and chips ...and I am half way through it and its divine! the chips tasty and the cod succulent and cooked to perfection. The staff were lovely and friendly and polite...and human! they read me perfectly and had an appropriate conversation . Deserve my 5 star rating ...keep it up guys.
