Very unexpectedly different, and in a nice way!! Quite eclectic in decor but the coffee was amazing, as were the cakes!! Most, if not all dietary needs are catered for, with an amazing outlook onto the Grand Union Canal, quite spectacular!!
Somewhere to sit, soak up the ambience and enjoy the scenery. There's a very vibrant, happy vibe here and its infectious, if you're feeling a bit 'at odds' with life, a few minutes here will take care of it!!
Come down for brunch by the canal. Afternoon drinks, live music and a truly wonderful atmosphere by the beautiful canal. Very popular and rightly so. The food was amazing! With their own pizza menu also. I’ll be back soon for sure

I just love going to this cafe with my dog. Staff is always excellent, food is simple but really good and fair price.
And I really enjoy the quirkiness of decorations.

Staff a bit irritable that it was busy but honestly had the best pastry I've ever had in my life here. It was pistachio topped swirl with a surprise jam and creamy custard running through each layer. I don't live in the area so I don't know when I'll get to try this again but it was unforgettable. Coffee also good.
Went here for my sisters 51st birthday breakkie, with 2 big labradors who act like they've never seen other humans when in public so they barked a few times when other people came in etc. Staff could not have been more welcoming, understanding and accommodating. Food was super lush and I would 100% recommend
My partner and I went for breakfast here. Lovely breakfast, brilliant to be by tge canal. Great service and lovely friendly staff. Will definitely be back.

My partner and I made two visits to the café. The first yesterday and as we were so impressed the second visit was today.
We had a superb lunch on both days. Sadly some ingredients weren't available yesterday though the alternatives were very tasty indeed. We each had one of the two "soups of the day" and they were quite excellent. And our mains were both well cooked and tasty.
I have taken one star off as access was slightly difficult for us as my partner is a wheelchair user. That and the missing ingredients yesterday (though when we got the salt beef today, it was well worth the wait) was slightly disappointing. However the staff helped us where they could and did their very best to get us seated.
The café has a very cosy and friendly feel. Service is efficient, friendly and personal. it almost has the feel of an amateur setup and yet the quality of the food and the little shop with high end delicatessen style foods suggests they very much know what they're doing. If we're ever up that way again, we shall certainly do our best to drop in.
Very rustic, but gorgeous sitting outside & alongside the canal in the sunshine! Great Service, friendly staff.....fab sandwich and coffee.

I love this place. It's an amazing location right by the water and feels very quiet. The pizza is fantastic as are the craft flavoured ciders on tap! They even have my favourite rum. The south African server is so polite and funny!
