First time trying out this place and I just wish I'd found it years ago! Without a doubt the best chinese food I've had in Hemel Hempstead. The staff are also lovely, kindly gave me some free prawn crackers too.

Really surprised by the number of 1 star reviews on here. We've been getting dinner from Apsley Chinese/Chung Wah on an almost weekly basis for nearly 10 years and have never had a bad experience. Food is tasty, with generous portions and delivery is always prompt. They are a little bit more expensive than some, but only slightly. We usually have Peking ribs, chicken satay and sometimes the crispy duck which are all excellent.
The Only Chinese I get in the from whole of Hemel Hempstead, always a good standard staff are friendly and helpful!
Really good food and the service is very good, they all are very happy and helpful, The parking can get busy there but a bit further down you have Dunelms car park.

I've just moved to Hemel and this was the first chinese I ordered in my search for a good Chinese in the area, and I need look no further! With so many bean curd (tofu) dishes and all the classics, there's something for everyone! They're polite, helpful and friendly on the phone and delivery which is always a good sign. Portion size is great! Value is great! After having had this for dinner tonight I'm already planning what I'm going to order next time. Will be recommending to everyone I meet in the area!
