This is not fast food. This is slow, dignified food served by cheerful people. The wait staff are charming and know how to deal with credit cards that require signatures.
The breads are beautiful. The smoked salmon is not too salty and nestles with capers on the platter. The salad greens were plucked from the garden only moments before they appeared on the table. Each wild mushroom was perfectly itself.
Try this the next time you are in the neighborhood of Stoke Row.
Really welcoming establishment with outstanding food and service. There were 6 of and s baby. Probably the best fish and chips I have ever had. With a choice of two real ales to top the visit. Highly recommended
Spent Sunday day and night at the The Cherry Tree Inn, What can i say other than what and absolutely unexpected treat. Great selection of beers and wines thats for sure. The food was absolutely fantastic from what i believe was a new menu. Dan and Cheryl was very welcoming and friendly during my short impromptu stay. The rooms are very nice clean modern rooms. The beds a super comfy. So comfy i was late getting up for work this morning. The breakfast again was a very nice full english cooked the the in house chef to order. The pub and the area are just incredible. Maybe one of the nicest parts of the uk i had the pleasure of visiting! Thanks.
What a great find! Had a family celebration here on Saturday 29th July and the food was fabulous and the staff were attentive and helpful. From the first contact to the occasion itself nothing was too much trouble, and they really made it an occasion to remember - thank you! Thoroughly recommended.
Just back from a lovely overnight stay here. Food is AMAZING. Can't fault it. The eggs Benedict for breakfast was superb. Met the new owner who has some exciting plans to improve the place even more. Good luck with it all and hope to visit again one day.
