Just visiting Henley for the day and fancied chips, how happy were we that we found this wonderful chip shop! Fabulous food, super friendly service from Raj and the portion size was very generous. Some of the best chips we've ever had, thank you, highly recommend.

Lovely Fish and Chips tonight at Uppal. Huge portions and great chat with the friendly owner. Even had Haddock for those Scottish visitors..would definitely come back

I’m not local to the area but I have to say I stumbled on a gem!
Everything I ordered was fresh and tasted great, from the fish to the curry sauce. Portions are HUGE and so are the fish!
Owner was really friendly and helpful, definitely one of the top fish and chips I’ve had and I haven’t been able to top my usual one but this might be on par!
Only complaint I could make is it’s cash only, but this isn’t a big deal as there’s a cash machine 5 min walk away

Just excellent fish and chips done perfectly, even for my coeliac husband. He's a bit of a gluten free fish and chips connoisseur and he reported that his were also excellent

We were really pleased to find Uppal, great fish and chips and, importantly for us, you can call 20 mins ahead of time and they will make it gluten free, much to the delight of our gluten intolerant 17 year old. Full marks.

Wonderful fish and chips... no grease in sight crunchy batter just the way we like it. Please visit this fish and chip shop you will not be disappointed. When I visit Henley again this will definitely be a place I will be visiting. Lovely clean and bright inside and a charming owner who greeted everyone with a friendly smile and good conversation 😊

A traditional chippy embedded between houses! A great spot. I would imagine this place would be heaving on a Friday evening. A nice friendly experience ordering chips, served warm and were cooked well. If you fancy a bit of traditional fish and chips in Henley, be sure to hit this place. I would suggest having som cash handy as they do not accept card payments. But very reasonably priced.
