Tonight was a treat for my wife, and I booked a table for 6.30pm . We were greeted and welcomed by a very pleasant member of the team, who showed us to our table. A couple of minutes later a young man introduced himself as our waiter and took our drinks order, duely bringing the drinks and taking our food order. The starters arrived a little later and was delicious, well cooked and very well presented. The main course was equally good and also well presented. We both enjoyed our short visit, and our food was excellent. The waiter was one of the best I have ever come across, being attentive, pleasant and polite at all times. Will certainly be back again soon.

On arrival we were welcomed in, the restaurant bar and toilets are so tidy and clean A lot of effort has been made to made it look festive. Staff are so friendly nothing is too much trouble and I could see around me they have repeat customers Food was delivered in good time and was lovely Well done to you all

We arrived a little early and were welcomed by a young man who showed us straight to our table, he let us settle ourselves before returning for our drinks order, there is a wine list but no list of soft drinks on offer which was a little odd for a restaurant catering for families we ordered drinks and then food the menu is well priced with good size portions, i requested salad instead of peas with my scampi and got that which was good, the batter on the fish my husband had was very crispy which was a big + the young ones cleared their plates as pub food goes it was well cooked presented and priced - thankyou

At time of entry, restaurant was very busy, which is completely fantastic for you, but this caused 45 minute waits for food. Thankfully my family were good company and the waiter/barman were extremely helpful and friendly so it definitely didn't feel like that wait time at all. Menu has been changed, as with a new chef, and honestly it's great. Great food with great flavours. Couldn't be happier with the evening.
