Simply the best Indian restaurant in the whole of Herefordshire, I have being going here for 30 years and Ray ( THE BOSS ) and his team are just the best, the food is fantastic and nothing is ever a problem 10\10 every time

clean comfortable very friendly reception by staff. portions generous and served up in good time. enjoyed the experience. it was a shame that a big group of very loud males entered and took over, spoiling the ambience.

Very close to town center....staff are very friendly....great service....Ambience is a bit dull....Kebab starters were cold in the center....However the Mains were tasty and served hot....very good food quality....Definitely a great place to go to for an Indian dining experience.

I was never a massive fan of Indian food as everywhere seemed to serve the same simular runny curry put through a blender with lumps of meat and only the colours being different.
That all changed when I had a balti from the taste of raj. Wow, finally!
You can instantly see and taste the whole fresh ingredients. The chicken just crumbles and is so tender. Its not too hot and it doesn't have to be because its so tasty. I've had this dish many many times and it's consistently perfect every time. I've tried so many different cooking methods at home but I can't get my chicken anywhere near as good.
I've been inspired and cooked some Indian dishes at home that have been far better than many Indian restaurants, but not as good as the taste of raj, and rightly so.

Absolutely fantastic place. The food was lovely and a decent price. Service was good, food didn't take too long. Would highly recommend and go again. They made my friend's birthday special with balloons on the table and a free dessert at the end! Can't thank you enough! Found a new favourite
