Stayed for 3 nights in log cabin on site.
Stunning area, rolling hills, quiet.
Plenty of scenic areas to visit.
Cabin was fitted out to a high standard, hot tub was a great addition on the outside deck.
Restaurant open Saturday and Sunday for food which is homely, great portion sizes and well priced
Had an amazing 2 nights at The Castlefields in one of their log cabins. The cabin was fully equipped to a very high standard and spotlessly clean.
The unit was spacious and had a lovely flow out onto the deck, outdoor seating area and to the hot tub.
There were gowns provided and lovely large towel
Had a great Sunday Carvery lunch. Plenty of meat, well cooked and tasty. Great selection of veg and all hot.
Will certainly be looking to book again, excellent value.
My husband and I were out on the motor bike on a Sunday and arrived at Castlefields after 2pm without making a reservation,we were made very welcome ,the staff were great we were served a full Sunday carvery 1 meat 1 vegetarian both of which were very tasty,thankyou guys for a making it a wonderful
A wonderful, welcoming country pub. One of the best Sunday roasts we've ever had. Very reasonable, plentiful meat and food each veg and exceptional staff! Only just outside Hay on Wye we'd highly recommend.

We love the Castlefields! Staff are so friendly, the grounds are beautiful & the food is lovely (very generous). We highly recommend this place. It's a 5⭐️ from us!
What a great place to stay in your motorhome or caravan and have a drink/ meal in the pub on site! Like having your own pub in your back garden! The site facilities are excellent too with EHU, clean showers, toilet block, washing facilities. Note there is no motorhome service point for grey waste
Easter Sunday Carvery, very nice it was too! you wont leave feeling hungry.

Great restaurant, lovely food and prices not too bad. There is a lack of WiFi availability and mobile signal which caused a few issues when trying to access the internet to pay our bill (for internet banking) and for our son who's autistic to be able to keep busy with his tablet. Outside play area
