Had Sunday lunch here, was good and value for money. Waitress was brilliant, helpful and nothing too much trouble for her. It needs another real ale apart from Harvey's. Will be back.
A group of four of us had an excellent meal and sweet last night. Service fairly quick. Plates full of appetising dishes. Great quality and quantity as well as good price. The young waitress was very courtious
and helpful. Lacked a little atmopshere although this will change as more people get to know how good it is. The chef came out himself to ask how everything was.
Good pub, well worth visiting.
An old fashioned, clean, friendly country village pub that has clearly been here for a long time. Its very quaint, and the kind of place that just doesn't seem to exist anymore.
A modernised (though I wouldn't say modern) pub menu include tapas, but the pub décor and carpet patterns are straight out of the 70's and 80's. This is not a bad thing and if you're of that certain age, it creates a nostalgia for times when your Dad used to buy you a lemonade and packet of crisps, and let you play 50p on the fruit machine.
Well worth a visit if you're passing.
Amazing food, whether you choose Spanish or English, it is delicious. Would highly recommend. Lots of space, excellent function area and happy to take children in. Dog friendly.

So I award this place 5* even though I've never been inside.
Lovely bit of food and the kids were well catered for which is always a winner. New owners and management just in I think.
