We have a beautiful family meal here with fantastic service and taste to die for. We have visited multiple times and have not been disappointed once. Lovely atmosphere with great decor and lovely small touches like playing designed to keep food warm though minimal spice information on menus (though staff more than make up for this with their helpfulness). A fantastic date night or family meal spot

Probably my favourite restaurant, fantastic food, perfect potion sizes all with reasonable prices and great staff. Nothing beats their pork Gra Tiem, though its almost as good with beef.
Lovely Thai food, cooked to perfection and packed with flavour. They also have a great lunch time offer which includes a starter and main for under £14. Very affordable and does not compromise on quality. The staff are also incredibly attentive.
Nice atmosphere and attentive, friendly service. The food served felt like a ‘watered down’ version of authentic Thai experience but perhaps we ordered the wrong dishes for that purpose 😅
I love this place. The traditional decor (imported from Thailand by the Thai owner) is beautiful, I particularly love the traditional seating area, but the tables we sat at on this occasion was as nice. Food is delicious (although my husband wasn't as impressed with his new dish sadly) but he ate it so it wasn't terrible. Main complaint would be that some dishes are quite expensive for what you get; my pad Thai with shrimps though was perfect. Took my leftovers home and it made for an enjoyable lunch the next day. Servers were great too, very attentive and so polite.
If I could give the Old Siam 10 stars I would. Everything is spot on; the food, the atmosphere and the service. Be sure to try the honey duck, and the sizzling lamb. I will always come back to and recommend this restaurant.

The menu is smaller than the pre-covid days, but a lot of the favourite staple dishes are still available.

With every other restaurant packed, the hospitality here was possibly the best we have had. On arriving we were not turned away for not having a booking, and the service was pretty much on point. The environment was great, all traditional decor and very clean and tidy. The food was great but there were some which could have been better. Overall I would recommend this place if your after Thai and in Hertford.

Absolutely loved it here. We were greeted with humour and kindness which carried through to the service and up until we left. The food is something else here, a real authentic taste that leave you wanting more. The duck curry and soup were delicious.
