This is 100% the best lunch place in Hertford town. Very tasty exotic salads, quiches, wraps, pastries and cakes. And all part of a good cause.

What an amazing place. We had the Mudlark Apple Cake and Lime & Coconut loaf together with an Earl Grey Tea & Americano. Totally satisfactory and for a good cause too. I can highly recommend Mudlarks as a destination if you’re heading into the country side and visiting Hertford. The service is outstanding!

Popped in for a quick coffee midweek. Staff were presented well and did a good job. Coffee was good too. A good place to accommodate wheelchair .

This was a lovely place to stop for coffee and vegan cake! Relaxed atmosphere. Also great to see that the cafe operates as a charity. Will definitely return if I'm in the area again. Ethical food in an ethical environment.

I go to Mudlarks regularly and the food is universally excellent. It is healthy vegetarian/vegan with many gluten free offerings as well. Prices are reasonable. The staff are attentive and the place is welcoming to all. The cakes are also excellent and my favourite is the Bakewell muffin. Keep up the great work.

As things have changed again so has my review. The situation has not seemed to slowed this growing cafe. Another super meal in the cafe today (see photos) Has two tables outside in a private court yard with Umbrellas then lovely park bench’s street side. Rest of the seating is well spaced inside. Blended oat Frappe is fab! Takeaway still available and never seems to take long. Still very dog and kid friendly! Staff helpful and friendly!
