An absolute gem of a bookstore! I actually live in the North East but make sure I buy my books from here and have attended many events which are always well organised used.

Adult books, certainly look interesting. The store has a good range of these.

Attended a book signing everything here for the first time. Absolutely amazing and intimate occasion with around 25 people and the author. Lovely place to visit, small cafe at back of bookshop.

This independent bookstore is legendary. Fantastic nights of laughter and star authors who are very approachable. This store is run by Sue who is inspiring and dedicated to sharing books with everyone young and old
It's a lovely book shop anyway.....now has a coffee shop too. My daughter and I had a relaxing hour or more in the cosy area with coffee and cake after a very enjoyable walk in an around Heswall, Lower Heswall and surrounding areas.
I think this is an interesting, quirky bookshop which is well laid out. There are really lovely gifts for children available such as sticker books and glove puppets. Beautiful and interesting books for adults and teenagers are available too. There are even Associated Board exam music booklets. Welc

Visited prior to Christmas to pick up some gifts. Great selection of books (amongst other things) and the customer service was great. Gone are the days I'll be visiting Waterstones - what a great independent book store this is!
Lovely book shop...rarity nowadays...with a pleasant cafe inside too...only downside for me, music too loud...I'd suggest keeping content neutral e.g. light classical ...

Having recently retired, I really value my day trips around the UK. As an avid reader, I decided to mark my first visit to the Wirral by exploring this highly rated bookshop and it's fair to say that I was blown away by the customer service. All of the staff were very helpful however I must provide

Marvellous independent bookshop in Heswall. Friendly, always helpful staff working in a bijou but busy shop. Great café in the rear too where you can relax and peruse your (prospective) purchases. Lots of author signed editions to suit many tastes and a variety of literary events can also be booked
An absolute gem! Lovely staff, cakes are gorgeous, clean facilities and lots of great books. Accessibility is decent.
