A beautiful place , gardens are lovely with something new to see round every corner. The water maze was fun , and happily we solved the yew maze too! The moat cafe had enough food options including vegan ones to satisfy all of us. Close to Halloween when we were there and we chatted to a vampire, spotted a ghost and saw lots of crashed witches. Well worth a visit for adults and children alike.

Such an amazing place!! The view is breathtaking, and the garden (it has a variety of flowers) is well-maintained with art and class, and it is a massive area! There's a kiosk before you enter the bridge, so make sure to pay your fee. This place is good for picnics, accommodation and events (weddings). Everything was beautiful! It’s better to see this place in person and not just in photos. They have a parking area as well for guests.

Breathtakingly beautiful! I've posted some photos of what Hever Castle looks like from the outside as well as some of the grounds but I won't spoil what the inside looks like because that would ruin the fun! In the very last photo, there appears to be the formation of a lady that has manifested in the waterfall. My mum and I only noticed this when we uploaded the photo on social media! It could be nothing but it could be something, perhaps Anne Boleyn herself! I would love to hear feedback about this, and whether there have been other people who have seen this appear.

Lovely place buzzing of joy and wondercolours of autumn as we visited on an October Sunday. Everything for everyone- military museum at entrance, history castle with lots of information, great Halloween decor, fair selection of snack and cold or warm drinks to buy, nice souvenir and gardening shop, amazing gardens and maze. Highly recommended either for family, friends, romantic or just for a day out !!! Hope you will enjoy it as much as we did.

I love Hever Castle and Gardens, it's my favourite castle. Relatively small but gorgeously designed with a wealth of history. The grounds, lake and gardens are stunningly beautiful especially in spring when in full bloom. Fabulous place for a picnic. I never tire of it. I've always found the staff to be friendly, smiling, welcoming and helpful.

We enjoyed a lovely afternoon at Hever Castle yesterday. The history of the house is very interesting. The gardens are really beautiful. There's a lot for kids to do. The water maze,in particular, was a big hit with the youngsters. Well worth a visit, go there if you can.

Fantastic day, such a lovely place, everyone was friendly. The castle is small, but this makes it great if you have younger children. Gardens a beautiful. The water maze was fun. Also we saw the falconry display which was funny and informative. Wish we had got there early as we still had more to see. Downside is all the food places close about an hour before the place closes, we needed a quick tea/drink before leaving, could do with them closing 30 mins before. Overall 5*

Even on a rainy autumn day, the gardens and grounds are stunning. We have an annual pass which is well worth it. The castle is very interesting. A great family day out.

If I could rank this place at ten stars,I would .The experience was enhanced by the wonderful , professional staff members all of whom gave an added "zing" to the I conic building. If you love Tudor History you cannot fail to be moved . There is definitely an Atmosphere in the Castle. Every one of the staff looked very smart and obviously were enjoying their posts. The information that they gave us was excellent. We went as a group of volunteers from the Mary Rose Museum so we were familiar with the history to a certain extent , but these people took it to another level. I urge you to go. The gardens and lake were huge and immaculate you could see the detail and loving care that had been put into the presentation of everything The café and shop were well stocked and reasonably priced. Many thanks to the custodians of the past at Hever Castle and grounds .

Back after a long absence to the home of the Boleyn family. My wife loves Tudor history and the family played their part. The Castle and Gardens are in wonderful shape and the whole place is peaceful, even with the regular fly overs. We also enjoyed a lovely lunch within the cafeteria which set us up for our long drive home to the Midlands. Excellent afternoon…

While it's a bit difficult to get to without a car, it's definitely worth a visit! From Hever station, there's a walking path across the fields with minimal signage, which is definitely preferable to walking on the roads with absolutely no footpath or even green patch to walk along. But once you make it to the grounds, it's beautiful! The gardens are stunning and there's so much to see, from a hedge maze to a water maze, rose gardens and the stunning loggia by the lake, it's just such a great place. The castle itself is so full of history too, and comes with a fantastic audio tour that gives in depth information on the history and art of the place.

Hever Castle is a must visit! The castle is quite small (for a castle) but it's probably the most beautiful I've seen. The staff in the castle were brilliant. The grounds/gardens are so well kept. I can't wait to go back already!

Had a fabulous time at Hever castle The castle itself is quite small as castles go but beautiful inside . To think that Anne Boleyn once walked those halls .... But the gardens are some of the best I've ever seen . My sister and I spent nearly 3 hours in the grounds alone . So much to see , stunning lake , beautiful gardens , well worth a visit . We booked online in advance and saved 10%

Probably has become my no 1 favourite castle to visit. Beautiful castle and surroundings, loved every minute of it. Highly recommend to do the lake walk, takes an hour but worth it! Fun day out here, so much to see and do, lots of ducks!

Great place!!! Castle is amazing. It is not big, which is good and when you walk through all the rooms you are not feeling tired. You enjoy everything. The gardens and the lake (especially Italian gardens) blow your mind. Thoroughly recommended!!!

Wonderful Hever Castle and beautifully kept gardens and grounds. However at lunch time a trip to the Moat cafe for lunch was disappointing for a hot meal. The three of us chose the same meal from the digital screen menu to be told abruptly that it's not available because they did not have a delivery and was advising us in the queue what was.!..just remove it from the menu and problem solved. The meal we did choose was satisfactory and the coffees and teas all good. It did not detract from a lovely day at Hever and would highly recommend a day out here.

It was a wonderful day at Hever Castle! Worth visiting. All the staffs were friendly and helpful! The only downside if you don’t have a car, no taxi nor bus from Hever Station. If you love walking, there’s an adventure footpath along the farm, which you will walk pass lovely Horses and flocks of sheep. Otherwise, whole experience was great!
