A very welcoming Pub was able to serve my Friend and I with a delicious Bacon and Brie Baguette even though they had a group of 30 booked in to arrive within minutes. Good selection of Ales and Larger too.

Really friendly pub. Popped in after a wild swim at Hexworthy Bridge. Steep 5 minute walk up the road. Had a bacon and cranberry roll with chips. Delicious. Friendly owners and probably very cosy in the winter months.

We stopped in the Inn for lunch ahead of a swim (10minute walk from the pub). We were two families of four. All the food was great. We recommend the fish and chips but all was amazing and the ploughman's was big enough to feed a family. Will be back when next in the area. Hopefully soon.

Great stay. Just a one night getaway. Friendly, hospitable staff. Bijou but clean and comfortable room with a good breakfast. No food as such as the new chef arrived whilst we were there. Looking forward to going back to sample the offerings 👍

Perfect pub in a perfect location - a welcome oasis surrounded by fantastic walks. The national trail heading west from here has some of the most beautiful countryside vistas I've ever seen, and the river a few minutes downhill is perfect for a little swim. Prices werevery reasonable considering I would have spent my life savings for a pint at the time.

Very reasonably priced Inn and b&b in very central dartmoor. Very quiet at night with very dark skies. Just up from the picturesque river dart and easy access to two bridges, Princetown and Buckland abbey.

Bed and breakfast excellent with friendly and accommodating staff. good selection of beers at the bar. Let down by the quality of food in the restaurant (separate business). Location is excellent for a quiet getaway right in the heart of beautiful Dartmoor.

Popped to the Forest Inn for the first time. It is in a remote spot with a lovely drive from either direction. The food was pretty good traditional pub grub, I had a generous well done jacket spud. Well kept pint of Legend on tap for my husband. The building itself is a little tired and it is a shame they're not able to make the most of the views with the outdoor seating at the back. The couple that are running the pub were both really friendly and I would return on the strength of that. (Forgot to take any pics!)
