Very impressed with this pub! Excellent pies, definitely live up to the title of "proper pies". Great beer selection too, recommend Round Corner Brewing's Social Club if you like stout. Child friendly too; spacious with good changing facilities. Beer garden looks good for summer and a nice walk alon
I booked The Plough Inn for the hen do I was organising. We booked the table for 15 people. Kirsty and the team were amazing! The entire hen party had nothing but positive things to say about The Plough Inn. Kirsty listened to everything we wanted, to make sure the party was personalised, wonderful,
We had a lovely meal at The Plough. The food was very good and the staff were friendly and helpful. We stayed all afternoon and didn't feel rushed by the staff, which was great as we were catching up with friends we hadn't seen for many months, thanks.
Just a great pub really, it’s out of the way, it has a really nice atmosphere, a good selection of real ale and ciders, the food was great quality and good value and really tasty. Dog and child friendly too.
Lovely staff, friendly and chatty. Food was nice and good value. Could do with more gluten free options please.
lovely lovely place. food was magnificent. proper pies, gorgeous. great atmosphere. park up as well for campervans. next to the canal for a walk. brilliant.
Called in here on the off chance for a Sunday lunch after finding it on a motor home stopover app and we really weren’t disappointed! It was coming up for 4pm and it had clearly been a very busy service. The bar was still very busy and after a bit of a wait we were served by a lady who we now know
Great pub! Welcoming and the food was great. Pies are excellent and all with fresh veg
Fab little place, we ordered way too much but took it home for seconds and thirds once we had recovered 😆 will be back for a pie night!
THOROUGHLY RECOMMEND. Lovely, value for money food, Good choice of well kept ales, fantastic customer service in a newly refurbished village pub.
