Review Little Fortune Chinese Takeaway - High Bentham

A great Takeaway, the food is good, the website is slightly cumbersome but it still works quite well. Good price for the food and extremely generous portion sizes.

Seen some of the reviews are negative about this takeaway… Me and my partner stayed in Bentham for a 2 night stay and fancied something quick for dinner. The food was brilliant, super fresh and great value for money. The salt and chilli chicken/chips were tremendous and the chicken fried rice was a brilliant portion size. Would definitely reccomend!

Quick friendly service and we were pleasantly surprised how nice the food was. We've had better over the years, but this is a place we would be happy to return to and would recommend. We chose the sweet and sour chicken, boiled rice and also the kung po chicken (which seemed quite garlicky).

My food order was taken by a young girl and whilst taking my order the phone rang and the girl stopped taking my order to answer the phone! Very rude. My order was completed by somebody else. I asked for special black bean and was told they don't do it! But they do lots of other special dishes? I ended up with special kung po. Food was really nice and hot just spoilt by the rude girl, would go again.

Really surprised by the previous poor reviews. I've only been once, so far, but was really impressed by the quality. Tasted great. Only thing we could have done with was some dipping sauce with the starters e.g prawn toasts.

Good food at a reasonable price. Food ready quite quickly after ordering. You can order by phone though. Also, be aware, cash only.

I live locally and use them from time to time. The service is fine, food ready on time and staff pleasant. The food isn't the best Chinese takeaway I've eaten, but it's perfectly okay

Having trying Little Fortune for the first time i was pleasently impressed by the amount of food we were given and the quality. The staff were very Kind and pleasent. The only thing that was dissapointing was that they had no way of paying by card (as i don't carry cash). The Salt and Pepper Chicken wings were generously seasoned and the meat was tender and fell of the bone. The Special Curry wasn't particulary hot but was very tasty as i could taste all of the spices the chicken was fresh and delicious. I would definatley visit Little Fortune again.

KUNG PO chicken, noodles, rice,Chinese chips and crispy beef... all good, fresh (very important!), hot and reasonable portions. It took about 10 mins from order to deliver and there was a steady stream of people coming to collect orders... so it wasn't quiet, but there wasn't a long wait. As good as anything we've had from Kirkby Lonsdale!

We are staying in a cottage close by and got a takeaway. The food was quickly prepared and was still lovely and warm once we got back to eat it. The food was delicious. Tasty and enough of it. We would definitely go back.
