The General Havelock - High Wycombe - Photo album

Stopped here for lunch on the way to Lymington. Glad I did a bit of research looking for a proper pub with good food and friendly service. Proper steak and kidney pud here.
Very nice pub, great atmosphere, felt very welcome, the food was just right for us, love all the Deco so many interesting things and kids and dog friendly. Would defo recommend
Lovely Sunday lunch lots of fresh veg roasties were good and lots of gravy, my only criticism was the beef was overcooked i like mine pink but there was lots of it and very good value for money
Stumbled across this place looking for something to eat at 4pm, a tricky time. We got lucky, big time. It was a Thursday and that meant Thai-day at the generals. We had the duck tamarind and the green curry. Wow! I know it's a cliche but it was the best Thai food outside of Thailand. Have to go back
Consistency is the key word here. Yes, there are better restaurants but the minted lamb shank Sunday roast at The General Havelock is ALWAYS good
A party of 4 enjoyed a great get together on Monday lunchtime. Ribs all round, well priced and so tasty
Good tasting beer just a shame there were kids in there fairly late running about
Hadn't been there for years. Still a very nice pub.

Awesome Sunday lunch at an awesome price! Service and atmosphere were great! We will be back! Make reservations ahead of time if you don't mind hanging at the bar or giant garden while waiting for a table
Brilliant, this is an excellent pub with very helpful staff. We went there as a group of 8, popped the money behind the bar and sat back and relaxed. We gave a nod when we were ready for the next round and it was ready to collect each time without fail. Some of us ordered food, it arrived lovely and
Absolutely love this little pub, it’s just down the road from my workplace so we come here often for lunches and drinks after work. The staff are always so friendly and welcoming and there’s a good atmosphere. The garden is lovely in the summer and definitely worth a visit. Drinks are reasonably pri
