Attended a wedding reception and the staff were great, the wedding co-ordinator was fabulous, drinks were reasonably priced and a good time was had by all. My only criticism was the ladies loo absolutely stank, the cubicles less so, so i think it was a drains issue. Not sure if they were checked for
Got married here on the 7th August. Every single employee made the day run so smoothly, bar staff was great, receptionist were brilliant & head chef and his team was great. 3 course meal was spot on, couldn’t fault it. Massive shout out to Julianne for making our day ever so special, if I could do
I have been staying here for 3 nights and yes the rooms are a little dated and could do with some TLC but fine to lay your head down. The food was lovely and could not fault it at all. All the staff were a credit all friendly and very helpful. I have been staying here on my own and not once felt unc
Just spent two nights at this delightful hotel. Arrived to a very warm welcome from the lovely lady on reception. Every staff member we encountered during our stay was friendly and smiling! Particular shout out to Dean the Head Chef, who we spoke to on several occasions. We ate in the hotel restaura
Excellent value for money on a 2 day Groupon deal. Room was spotless and had all we needed. 3course dinner on Friday evening was really scrumptious!!! Only 1 minor thing was that the breakfast tasted great but could have been hotter. Maybe the hotplate wasn't working so well?? But this minor detail
The Hotel staff are nice and friendly. The bed is very comfortable. Powerful shower and decent sized bath. The only slight complaint would be the fried breakfast was a bit small. Other than that no other problems.
A wonderful hotel! My wife and I got married here over a year ago and we decided to stay the night last night. Ample parking, staff were friendly, welcoming and accommodating, the bedroom we were staying in was newly refurbished and it was amazing! The room was sizeable, comfy king-size bed, the blu
Stopped at The King's Hotel following a recommendation and so glad I did. Was served by a lovely young man called Sam who was very friendly and attentive. Only had sandwiches but highly recommend them. Will definitely call again if passing through.
Function room was perfect for 60th birthday celebration. Delicious buffet. Lots of compliments on the food. Everything was very well organised by Julieanne. Everyone had a great evening. We Stayed the night and the room was very clean modern and comfortable.
What a wonderful venue! Went for a lunch time event and thoroughly enjoyed myself. The risotto and fish were beautifully cooked. No mean feat for such a large group of people and what turned out to be a very popular dish. Our host, the co-owner, was delightful and funny. The perfect host and a perf
Very nice meal but might I suggest they serve the gravy in a jug so you can choose much or how little you want. The beef was tender, with a good variety of vegetables. Friendly service and pleasant surroundings. Very popular for Sunday lunch.
I stayed here on and off for about six months. So a quick overview. Rooms are good but can look a bit tired. However some where being renevated when I finished. Staff friendly and helpful probably it's strongest asset. Food is good but menue can be limited if your veggie or vegan.
