Review The Windmill Bar And Bistro - Highbridge

Flora
Excellent roast lunches served on Wednesday and Sunday lunchtime. Gets very busy so booking required. Has theme nights currently noticed a board roadside for a murder mystery night. Parking in large car park at front of caravan site. Disability access throughout with lift to bar area / restaurant which is on first floor. Disabled toilet available. Pleasant staff and friendly service. We are not local and visited during our stay at the local Travelodge - we were made to feel welcome by bar staff. Clean well presented bar and restaurant - clean toilets

Just had my wedding reception there. All i can say is wow. The staff are incredible. Always professional yet more than happy to have a laugh. The effort that they went to in order to decorate the room and the tables is incredible. Nothing was too much trouble. The food was fantastic, there was easily my money's worth and the standard was high. As for the venue,it's beautiful. If anyone is looking for a place to host an event then this is definitely the place i will recommend.

We had our Christmas party here last night ...I throughly enjoyed it ..food was superb and well presented ..staff were attentive especially a lovely young man sorry didn't get your name but you were the one taking all our photos on different phones on the stairs ... the whole place was lovely and clean including the toilets ... I must admit I never knew your place existed until a week ago I think you should do more advertising and promotion as it's brilliant the entertainment was good too

It was a very nice place to eat, the food was very good, the only issue we had was the signs for parking not knowing the area and our first visit we pulled up to the barrier to be confronted by a very rude unhelpful man who proceeded to wave us away with a hand gesture, not what you need on your first visit, but yes I would recommend the windmill to eat

Have been for Sunday lunch a couple of times and daughter suggested an upcoming event we might enjoy.....murder night at a wedding breakfast. So we gave it a go, staff and food was excellent and the entertainment with the interaction of the cast was out of this world. A must do again in the future. Well done and keep up the excellent work as we will be back a lot more to support this great place on our doorstep 😀😀😀
