The Sampan

Came here for dinner with some friends and we were all very happily surprised. The food came out quickly and was nice and hot. Everything tasted great. We ordered a big roll of sushi and I will say they did a great job with it. The flavor was great and was delicious. Didn't last long at all. I do feel the right might have been a tad undercooked but no one else had a complaint about it. Their egg rolls were amazing. Their drinks were very colorful and tasty but might have been a little weak.

A small restaurant in the middle of Hillsborough NH. This place is great. Been here a few times. Love their frozen drinks! I have tried Peking duck here and it was delicious. I also highly recommend the steamed dumplings. The sushi chef does a great job. Next time I go back I want to sit at the sushi bar and enjoy a more one on one experience. If your traveling to or from Vermont this is good location to add to your trip!

We ordered here for New Years Eve and it did not disappoint! We forgot to order the day before like they suggested on their social media, however, we were still able to pick up our order only an hour or so later! Every single sushi roll was absolutely delicious. I have been to fancy sushi restaurants in San Francisco and Sampan certainly compared to those top of the line restaurants! None of the rolls were tipped over or anything after picking up and traveling a half hour back to the house. Everything was perfect and I would HIGHLY recommend checking this place out if you're in the area.

Delicious food well worth the drive! Plate full of food for decent prices. Our Waiter was amazing and. We were seated fast but it took a bit for our food to arrive, it was pretty busy when we first got there. When our food did arrive though it was hot, fresh and delicious! Second time going and I highly recommend!

Wasn't thrilled with my takeout order. Chicken wings looked over cooked, rice was just ok, crab Rangoons were mushy.... not the best meal I've had here. Maybe the cooks were having a bad day? And on top of that they charged extra when I used my credit card. And yes, I did see the sign telling me they would do that, but still.... the meal wasn't as good as I've had in the past. Oh well...I might go back or might not for awhile...

Order a few appetizers and get home to realize they gave me the wrong order. Called and immediately put on hold. Then they accidentally took me off hold and so I sat there and listened to employees talking. They realized after about a minute and said sorry then put me back on hold. Finally a man picks up and I explain that I was given the wrong order and charged for the wrong order. They then ask if I touched the order and I said yes in order to unpack it and they asked me to pack it back up and bring it back which I thought was odd even before covid but I drive back and the poor girl running the register refunds me and rings in my actual order. To my surprise a manager is no where to be seen and gives me no apology or anything. The restaurant was not busy the phone was not ringing and nobody except the woman who had her order given to me was sitting there, who made a comment that the returned order better stay on the front counter until her new food comes out. So all in all my food is now room temperature and an hour after I was supposed to eat and 2 trips to a resurant.

On my way through to Maine, my girlfriend and I decided to stop here. We ordered Chinese and I also ordered Sushi. I have to say I was not impressed. We only took a few bites before leaving. To make matters worse, the waiter noticed that we hardly touched our plates but still made us pay full price. Anyways, I did. I also left a tip, because it was my mistake for choosing this restaurant.
