Great steaks and fish, nice surroundings and great people!
Met up there last night with friends. Fantastic menu and 'specials' ..... I ordered off that, giant king prawn (filled the plate) with chilli sauce for starters and a trio of fish from the special board. HAPPY DAYS!
Its not on our door step, but well worth the drive
60th Birthday meal for 19 people was a great success, fantastic service and food in which all commented on.
The restaurant was dedicated to making the afternoon special and also allowed for items to be brought in such as cup cakes and balloons - we also payed all of our pre ordered food the day before which was no problem.
A great setting for an occasion or for lunch or dinner.
Will defiantly be back and recommend.

Couldn’t fault the place, food was superb, yes a little pricey but the quality reflects this! Perfect portion sizes, friendly staff and a lovely location. Would definitely return :)
Impressive quality food and service. Ours was a large party of eleven with various food preferences, all were catered for. Food came out quickly and everything was warm and well-presented.
I had haddock fishcakes to start, they were a generous size, very tasty, and the sauce was delicious.
Main was roast salmon supreme. Again a very generous portion, beautifully cooked with crispy skin. Good choice of veggies all perfectly done.
My partner had tempura tenderstem broccoli which was good but was crying out for a dip of some sort, or much more of the peanut sauce over it.
Her main was the special of Mahi mahi which had a nice moist but firm texture. Served with a warm salad, sweetcorn fritter and jerk sauce.
Dessert wasn’t quite as good. I had the lemon and thyme roasted peaches which were a bit dry; needed a big dollop of cream or ice cream and more of the crumble in my opinion, but it made a nice change.
My family have visited this restaurant many times and have given me rave reviews.
When l visited with them l realised what they were saying was true.
The staff were very attentive, and very funny. They were kind enough to to give us assistance to make sure that my wheelchair bound, elderly mother was taken care of in the best possible way.
The food was amazing, l particularly recomend the steamed mussels.
The deserts were to die for.
We all had a fantastic time.

This is most certainly a 5 star all round excellent restaurant! The proof is in the food and service. Great food (fabulous fish) and superb service! First time for me but will most definitely be going again soon!
Had lunch here with 3 business associates and the venue, the service and the food were all excellent. The menu focuses on seafood with a few steaks, lamb and pork options too. Prices are not cheap (lunch for the 4 of us was £175) but the quality of food is first class.
A good seafood restaurant in the East Midlands, with excellent service! The starters were okay (although the spiced carrot soup was a bit salty). We had the trio of fish and grilled lobster for mains which didn't disappoint. Desserts were too rich, but in a way that complimented the savoury dishes. Very friendly and attentive staff!
Great choice for Sunday lunch. Warm welcoming restaurant. Pleasant attentive and accomodating staff. Lovely roast and fish dish, tasty ,lots of veg and separate gravy for those who like more.
Great experience celebrating my dad's 60th birthday.
The servive was great all round but specifically for us Edward in the bar was exceptional. Great conversationalist, great service and an asset to barnacles.
He was attentive and really made an effort with us.

Disappointed with starters. Not enough seafood choices. No prawn cocktail. No scallops. Couldn't serve drinks properly. I had a gin and tonic to start, the waiter put all the tonic in, so had to make it a double. Don't know how to serve wine.
The mains and puds. Fine.
Very good experience, lovely food, nicely presented by friendly efficient staff. Will definitely go again.
