Great choice for Sunday lunch. Warm welcoming restaurant. Pleasant attentive and accomodating staff. Lovely roast and fish dish, tasty ,lots of veg and separate gravy for those who like more.

My family have visited this restaurant many times and have given me rave reviews.
When l visited with them l realised what they were saying was true.
The staff were very attentive, and very funny. They were kind enough to to give us assistance to make sure that my wheelchair bound, elderly mother was taken care of in the best possible way.
The food was amazing, l particularly recomend the steamed mussels.
The deserts were to die for.
We all had a fantastic time.
Thank you Barnacles, we will be back soon.

Great experience celebrating my dad's 60th birthday.
The servive was great all round but specifically for us Edward in the bar was exceptional. Great conversationalist, great service and an asset to barnacles.
He was attentive and really made an effort with us.

Absolutely top quality food in a lovely environment. Service is good but not in your face. Good selection of 0% drinks, would be nice to see some real ale available.

Disappointed with starters. Not enough seafood choices. No prawn cocktail. No scallops. Couldn't serve drinks properly. I had a gin and tonic to start, the waiter put all the tonic in, so had to make it a double. Don't know how to serve wine.

We booked into the Bedouin tent for pizza and live music for my wife's 50th birthday celebration. The service was excellent, right from the initial booking to planning the birthday surprise! The pizzas were delicious and the music from Ben and Wes was fantastic and really fitted the mood of the evening all of which made for a great memorable night!

We went on the hottest day of the year and were melting. But still a really lovely experience.
3/4 of the group love fish. 1 is a veggie. And even the veggie loved it. There were lots of veggie and vegan options as well. As a veggie that can't stand the smell of fish either there was no smell! Odd comment to make but if I were looking at reviews I'd want to know if you could smell it 🤣 10/10 already planning our next trip back.

Couldn’t fault the place, food was superb, yes a little pricey but the quality reflects this! Perfect portion sizes, friendly staff and a lovely location. Would definitely return :)
