Second time here and food was still amazing. We ordered poppadoms to share, salted pepper paneer which was gorgeous. The tandoori chicken wings were nice too. Samosa chaat was unique, never tried anything like that and it was tasty. The chicken taka tak was lovely. Saag chicken (mild) version was delicious. The naan was the best we have tried, so light which meant it was not too filling. It was a good weekday deal for 3 courses including ice cream. Will definitely come back again.

We had a great experience at this restaurant tonight. We visited from Derby on recommendation of someone. The food, ambiance and service were excellent. We had ordered Mango Lasso, Raj Kachori, Shahi Paneer (side dish), Garlic naan and Veg. Biriyani - everything was very tasty. Would definitely recommend.

I recently dined at Bikaneri Bar & Restaurant, an Indian restaurant, and I must say it was an incredibly authentic and mouthwatering experience. Located in Hinkley, this restaurant truly captures the essence of Indian cuisine. The moment I stepped inside, I was impressed by the warm and inviting atmosphere. The decor and ambiance were reminiscent of India, with rich colors, beautiful artwork, and soothing music that set the perfect mood for a memorable meal. The menu offered a wide range of Indian dishes, and I was delighted by the authenticity of the flavors. From the fragrant spices to the expertly prepared tandoori dishes, each bite was a burst of deliciousness. I particularly enjoyed the butter chicken which was perfectly spiced and cooked to perfection. The service was attentive and knowledgeable about the menu, providing recommendations and ensuring a pleasant dining experience. If you're a fan of Indian cuisine and appreciate authenticity, Bikaneri Bar & Restaurant is a must-visit. It's a true gem that delivers not only delectable dishes but also an enchanting Indian dining experience. I can't wait to return for another flavorful journey to India right here in Hinkley.

Good location and to find a Rajasthani cuisine inspired restaurant was truly a discovery. They had daal, baati and choorma on their menu which I have not seen anywhere in the UK. I did not try it though( saved it for next time). The starters we ordered was Samosa Chaat and Manchoorian, which I must say was very very delicious. For mains we ordered kadai panneer and naan, kadai paneer was good but starters were way better, the service was alright, overall a good dining experience

This was an absolute great place to visit. The atmosphere was amazing, the staff were so attentive and caring and even took my husbands nut allergy seriously. The food was phenomenal the Papadi Chaat was just fantastic. I could’ve sat and ate that all night with a side of paneer.

Really beautiful meals - mine was a lamb dish with added rum! Medium spice and with the peshwari Nan it was perfect! My partners a paneer dish on a sizzling plate; this was lovely with a almost smoked cheese taste. Service was excellent too. Lovely pint of Cobra; we popped in on a Sunday afternoon, but will come back one evening. Recommended.

I've got to say that Bikaneri must be one of the best kept secrets in Hinckley. We thought we would try their Tuesday and Wednesday £14.95 special deal and have had a fantastic dinning experience. The staff were friendly and attentive with out hanging over you. They knew their menu and were able to advise and even adapt one of the main dishes for us. We were both blown away by our starters, firstly by the presentation then by the taste. The mains did not fail either and were as equally as good. This has got to be some of best Indian food we have ever had. I decided to go all veggie this night and if all vegetarian food tasted as half as good as this then I would convert tomorrow. Even at normal prices this would be a steal and quality night out. I can't understand why the place is not packed every night. Go and try it yourselves, you won't be disappointed.

It was our first time trying Rajasthani cuisine in UK. The place is modern with a decent ambience. The food was great. The Rajkachori was too good and so was the desert. However we were quite let down by the service. We had booked a table for 8pm, the staff only managed to find us a seat at 9pm. For almost an hour we were just stood there waiting for a table. The bar could not serve us any drinks either while we were waiting as they were short staffed. Luckily the food made it worth the wait. Our first impression was a great restaurant with average service.

A Flavorful Delight at Bikaneri I recently had the pleasure of dining at Bikaneri, and I must say, it exceeded all my expectations. From the moment I stepped in, I was greeted with warm smiles and a welcoming ambiance. What impressed me the most was the impeccable quality of the food. Each dish was meticulously prepared, showcasing the chef's expertise and dedication. The flavors were rich, vibrant, and authentically Indian. Bikaneri truly managed to capture the essence of traditional cuisine, elevating it to a whole new level. Not only was the quality exceptional, but the quantity served was also generous. I left the restaurant feeling completely satisfied, both in terms of taste and portion size. It's evident that Bikaneri values their customers' satisfaction and ensures that no one leaves hungry. The menu offered a wide variety of options, making it a paradise for food enthusiasts. Whether you're a fan of vegetarian or non-vegetarian delights, Bikaneri has something to suit every palate. The staff was attentive and knowledgeable, willingly guiding me through the menu and suggesting must-try dishes. In conclusion, I highly recommend Bikaneri to anyone in search of a memorable dining experience. Its commitment to quality, generous portions, and incredible flavors make it a standout restaurant. I cannot wait to return and explore more of their delectable offerings.

If you walk pass, please get in and give it a go! We went there today, was empty, probably due to being recently opened and jubilee events going on. So glad we did try. Very friendly stuff, restaurant and restroom spotless! Delicious food, very fresh ingredients. The chicken was so tender and moist. Fish perfectly fried, not oily. And naan bread from another world. All flavours perfectly balanced and different. So happy to have this place in Hinckley and opened for lunch!

I turned up to meet a friend the other Friday night and ordered a half grill and he had chicken curry. Oh, and poppadoms and what not. We ordered and then suddenly the food appeared! I'd only had about 4 swigs of my pint! I checked my phone from when I rang him when I was outside and it was 12 minutes from walking in the restaurant to the food arriving. 12 minutes. That includes reading the menu and ordering as well! Some people might like that but I prefer to at least take my coat off and have a quick drink first. I suppose I shouldn't be moaning about quick service but it just seemed too quick to be honest. And in that time they'd also forgotten the poppadoms so they came out as a dessert 🤦‍♂️ Food was nice, can't grumble really, and different to other places in that respect as its Rajistani, but there are so many nice "proper" independent Indian/South Asian restaurants in Hinckley I don't see why people would go here over them apart from the location in town. Also the place is huge and like Rossinis before them, it does effect the atmosphere. Would I go again? Probably if a group was going down but I'd use another restaurant if I had the choice. Still didn't mark it down too much, but I'm surprised at people saying it's the best Indian Restaurant around to be honest.
