Nipped in while in the area for a night. Great little local chippy, really friendly staff, and the food was delicious. Haddock was hefty and freshly cooked to perfection with a healthy portion of perfect chips. A breath of fresh air for a northerner living in London and deprived of proper chippies.
We also got some chicken strips on the side which was a rogue shout but they were also brilliant. Would highly recommend this place.
The fish was fried as we waited, freshly cooked. Chips nicely done too. Pleasant staff. I recommend 👍
All of the Fish and Chips cooked to order. I had a regular portion which was an average in size, fish had a crisp batter and the chips tasted good. A good fish and chip shop for the area at a fair price.
Absolutely fantastic shop. Everything cooked fresh in front your eyes. A lovely and friendly chap served me, explaining the price and length of time for the wait. Great value in my opinion. What else would you want?

The best fish ever..... from fish strips to fish portions. Only just moved down here and happy to have such a great fish and chip shop so close! (Being from Liverpool, we do like good fish and chips!!!).

Our local chippy! And the best chippy we have been to by far! Since moving to Hindhead, Hindhead friars has been our go to when we can’t be bothered to cook! Literally a 2 minute walk, very quick service generally and the owners take the time in knowing the regular customers. I love the fish bites and chips! The chips are always cooked to perfection and will definitely be the reason for any weight gained over lockdown 😅
Nice tasting Fish & Chips. Could do with being served hot, as they were cold when we opened them up 5 minutes later.

Friendly service and good tucka well presented. They even battered crab sticks for us when we took them along. Can't ask for better than that.

Staff not very interactive but food we ordered made up for that. Chips tastey and the battered cod was fantastic - the best we've had and we've tried quite a few chip shops over the past few months.
I lobe this place a lot. My family and i get our Friday night dinner of fish and chips there. Very good service, they take their time to prepare the meals and its always with a smile. I highly reccomend
