Flames and my family have a long history, going back 30+ years. I had one of my birthday parties there as a kid, and my sister worked in the bar at the back many, many years ago. Still to this day, Flames and George's are my two favourite places to get a kebab from in Hoddesdon. If I still lived there, I would frequent it more often. The food is good and the staff are friendly
Lovely food, cooked quickly and just what we wanted. Having a laugh with the staff. My husband has been in here many a time and told me and my sister to try it out.

Food quite good although I asked for pitta bread to be separate from the kebab.The pitta was missed off completely.
Thank you to flames kebab for an exceptional 2 Kebabs, chips and 2 drinks which only cost £1 as it was prize they donated to the Marie curie charity, working at the Hoddesdon St George's fate. Top guys, Top food 👍
I have been going to Flames as one of my preferred take away places for more than 30 years now and I can't fault them. They offer a large range of kebabs and burgers, all cooked while you wait and served with freshly cut salads and a range of sauces and dressings. (Their chilli sauce is genuinely awesome!) There is also a small dining area and a bar for those who prefer to dine in, but it is predominantly a take away. I have always found all of the staff to be very friendly and the prices are very reasonable for the amount and quality of the food. If you haven't tried them yet, I would recommend them to you without any hesitation whatsoever.

As far as kebab shops go this is a winner. The food is great and the chips were crispy; the staff were on point and did everything to make our there awesome - and the guys even remembered some from our 'late night, post-party, need a kebab thing' party from years and years ago.
Been going to flames for 10 years. The guys behind the counter always welcoming and friendly food is cooked very well and tastes great. Maybe not the healthiest option but as an occasional cheat day well worth it.
I have been in flames kebab shop quite a few times, & I think the food in there is really nice and tasty, u can either eat ur food in there or take it away, the staff are ever so friendly in there, it is ever so clean in there, & u get served really quick in there,
Used to really love this place but some recent meals have been disappointing - lacklustre salad, shish dry/overcooked/reheated? Wish it'd get its act together.

I visit Hoddesdon every once and a while and Flames is always my go to place for a bite to eat. Great food, great prices and great staff who are always there to go the extra mile.
Easily the best kebabs in Hoddesdon, always friendly staff, eat in or takeaway. Not the cheapest kebab in Hoddesdon though but worth the money.
Great Food and service, great prices and lots to offer been going there for years it’s a fiver for a quarter pounder.
