My first proper meal out since I've had to go gluten free. Had belly pork with apple cider jus. One of best meals I've had.
Will definitely recommend eating there.
The staff were very welcoming. Although we only had a drink the food that was being served looked lovely. Will visit again when in the area.
Popped in today for a late lunch and the food was fabulous, very cheerful friendly staff, highly recommend.
We had dinner with the family and 2dogs. Happy they can accommodate dogs. We love the place. The food are amazing and the staff are friendly.
Great menu & our food was well presented & fresh, quick service & nice to sit in the garden. Will be back again soon
Visited recently while on holiday at doniford bay...so good we visited again at the end of our holiday. Good food and really friendly staff. Will definately go back in the future xx
Great food and choice of beverages, lovely atmosphere and friendly staff! Provide drinking water for the dogs and didn't mind one of my chickens turning up in the beer garden!
We were driving back to Weston-super-Mare from Dunster and found this fabulous Inn. Amazing food and great value for money. I can recommend the sea bass.
1st visit and not disappointed at all. Lovely traditional pub, sat in the garden as weather was nice but it would also be perfect in the winter as we spotted the nice big open fireplace! Food was excellent, service great and value for money too. Will be recommending to family & friends and it’s on my list for another visit soon (to have the pudding I couldn’t manage after the starter & main!)
Lovely food served by lovely people. Extra care and attention paid to our furry friend - including a doggy menu, doggy towels and blankets and free treats too!
Traditional British homemade food in a pleasant, clean environment. Extremely reasonably priced too!
Visited on a Sunday evening for dinner and very surprised at how extremely busy it was (glad we booked, the staff were turning away walk ins for food). Having said that we could not fault the attentive staff and quality of food. The four stars for service is only because the food delivery seemed delayed a while due to volume of customers, otherwise cannot fault the pub. Will visit again when in the area and can recommend a visit.
Plenty of GF options.
Chicken kebab with honey sriracha and BBQ hit the spot. Chocolate torte with custard to top it off. Relaxed atmosphere and lots of light. Enjoyed our visit 👍🏼
We love The Plough Inn. The warm welcome, great service & scrummy food! They even have a dog menu & dogs are always welcomed so warmly. Would highly recommend!
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Lovely village pub. Stopped here with family in the afternoon
Lovely, locally sourced menu with a variety of different lunch time options.
Stunning surroundings (only a few miles away from The Quantock Hills) & a lovely interior.
First visit what an amazing place! I am in a wheelchair so room was made for me at the table! Excellent service! Meals were fantastic great portion sizes! Desserts were delicious fruit crumble freshly made and Chocolate torte was delicious! Definitely recommend and definitely go back with the family! Thanks to all the staff for making our visit worthwhile! X
What a great pub. We spent a couple of nights at a local hotel but came here both nights for our evening meals, and one afternoon at the end of a long walk. Great menu and food. Good choice of your standard beers and ciders, plus local cask ales. Inside is your quintessential English pub, with sympathetic addition of a small conservatory providing additional dining space. The beer garden is also very well laid out with lots of nice little touches. Lounging on the corner sofa, in the shade of the tree, with a beer after our long walk was great! The owner and the staff were all very friendly and lovely to talk to and could not fault the service.
Visited on a damp Monday lunchtime. Good traditional pub food plus specials. Great service, our order was taken at the table. Advised that food would be about 20 minutes but not a problem given the good beers on offer.
Great pub to plan a walk around the Quantocks from or just if passing by on the way to or from Minehead.
Popped in this afternoon for a bit of lunch and the entire experience was great. We were given the option of picking our own table. The lady who served us was very friendly and welcoming. Both my children are incredibly fussy eaters and this was no problem whatsoever, they had loads of options to pick from. The food itself was top quality and cooked to perfection. We will most certainly be popping in again if we are ever in the area.
We had just done a reasonably long walk from Holford to Klive Beach and on the way back with the dog’s we decided to have a drink, having looked at the menu, we also decided to have an Halloumi Flatbread, it was huge! Also extremely tasty, luckily we shared the meal, but still couldn’t finish it all. They are dog friendly and gave our two exhausted dog’s some biscuits. We are staying locally and our hotel provides us the evening meals, but if it didn’t we definitely would have used this pub for our meals. They also have a doggy menu either for treats or a meal.
