The Gun Inn - Hollingworth - Photo album

Hosted a games night for our running club in the free function room upstairs. Such a beautiful room with original features. We only had chip butties but they were really good, we even got some salad & cakes thrown in and the napkins were super cute! Lisa was super helpful when trying to organise. Wo
Good range of beers, lovely staff and owners. I had my bday party here and we were made to feel so welcome. The function room is beautiful
A great little pub at the edge of the peak district. Reasonable prices for alcohol and a nice atmosphere 👌🏽
Wonderful atmosphere. Staff amazing and cant do enough to make your visit memorable. Food is home cooked and VERY reasonably priced. A must if you in the area.
Restaurant/pub quite upon arrival and with plenty of seating available upstairs and down in the main bar area. The pub would benefit from a midweek special menu/offer as this would attract more customers. The food was typical pub food. (More beans and less chips needed with pie) The pub was a lit
Nice bar new Landlady and Landlord . Relaxed pub . Could do with one or two more ales but overall nice
The room to hire is great for family celebrations. I've used it several times and always a great atmosphere. The staff are extremely helpful and even in the bar area itself, is a great place to be. Again the staff are top rank and some of the locals in there are brilliant, with a good old fashioned
16/04/23: quick stop after a 21km walk along the Longdendale Trail. Had a pint of Dizzy Blonde. Really friendly service. Dog friendly!
Attended for a christening in the function room it's a stunning room perfect for a small wedding reception! Only flaw was the bar & toilets was down stairs which was a little difficult for people unsteady on there feet. Bar well stocked and quick service.
Lovely well run local pub. Great landlord and landlady. Good beer and great selection. Perfect location for functions with a free function room upstairs. No food at the moment, but a lovely local pub.
I called in here whilst out for a ride in the Peak District. I was in need of a quick sandwich but was pleasantly surprised The interior is very tastefully decorated. The 'bar' menu was excellent. I had a chicken Tikka tortilla wraps with excellent fries . It's obvious that a genuine chef is employed
Just called in for a drink after a meal at the fisheries cafe.
Ate here Sunday afternoon. Although they were busy with a function upstairs we were served very quickly. The food was hot and tasty . Very large portions so couldn't finish mine and I have a good appetite too. Thankyou
Had a thoroughly enjoyable meal, well cooked and nicely presented for a far from excessive £8.95. Limited menu at this price available until 18:00, as well as other options a la carte, but reasonably priced thereafter too. The restaurant room is very nice. We will go again.
Decent pub, large pub area and big function room
Satisfying meal after a long flight. Liked the interior, well balanced to suit varied tastes. Vintage tv on and old-school music playing was a big plus. The menu is short but the food carefully prepared and tasty. We had chicken tikka and a burger, both very good, about 8 quid each. Staff was nice a
We met the new owners last night, they were very friendly and were telling us about their plans on how they are going to improve the pub. We are looking forward to trying the food, especially the Yorkshire pudding wrap ! Good luck girls we hope you make it the local that Hollingworth needs. DOG FR
Not a bad public house when it’s run by correct owners, let’s hope we get permanent owners soon!
