Really enjoyed my stay here, lovely room, fab location in the centre of the village and has a small car park.

We went for dinner and it was very nice. The staff were helpful. We had the lamb and the cheese salad, both were very tasty. Nice outside area with view of Holmfirth

Love the food here, staff always professional and friendly. Great atmosphere lovely to sit outside in the summer and people watch.

Great stayed 2 nights, the room and restaurant/pub we found clean and tidy the staff are very friendly and helpful. We ate in both nights and the food was wonderful, a big thumbs 👍 up for the chef.

Fantastic place to stay and eat .Cannot fault the service we received. Will be returning very soon .Central location does have a car park but if full there is a much larger on only three minutes walk away .

Brilliant place to socialise with large garden sheds put in during Covid and a lovely place for dogs. Very friendly staff and good food 😀

Lovely venue, heart of holmfirth next to the river with the sound of running water and church bells ringing leads to a relaxing and haunting experience. Nice coffee and the Maltesers are a nice touch. Back accepting cash too which is a brilliant change.

The dirty burger and fries are amazing. Fantastic food and service. Well done guys. 5 stars. Even the free water taste good.

Popped in Sunday dinner time just for a quick drink but ended up dining.
I opted for the seafood linguine and my partner for the open fish buttie.
My food was stunning I would definitely recommend .

Spectacular location. Right next to the river and in the center of town. Quiet at night, with good parking. The room we stayed in was massive with plenty of tea, biscuits and chocolates. We didn't need to use the car after we arrived, as there were plenty of good walks around. Food in the restaurant was okay, but had better nut roasts. Would come back.
