This place used to be awesome. The atmosphere and location is still amazing but, unfortunately, the food and service has really gone downhill. Today, we were kept waiting for nearly an hour for cheese toast. And after several reminders, it was served. What a let down! Literally two slices of bread with salt laden cheese served - nothing else! No salad, not even toasted slices! £7.50 and 50 minutes wait for that? Seriously? If Carding shed does not want bikers anymore, just say! After coming here regularly for several years, today was probably the last visit. The service staff seems to work hard but kitchen must be run by 1-man band! I think the management needs a change or two!

Great place, good atmosphere and the breakfast stack was amazing. Try the milkshakes. Would recommend booking as it does get busy. Some good cars to look around and memorabilia.

Wow, what a little hide away place. Had the burger brisket and it was on gluten free bread cake. My husband had the chicken kebab. Followed by a nice milkshake and a take away cake. 😋

Quirky little place with beautiful surroundings. Great spot for bikers and motor enthusiasts plenty of classic cars and bikes in the workshop/showroom area to dreul over. Cafe was top notch little expensive but the scenery and atmosphere well made up for it plus it was damn tasty. Easy for parking and they now have an outside seating area. Sure we'll be back again soon :)

Well worth a visit. Cafe with really good food. Some cars in a museum like display, and workshops with windows to let you see the restorations in progress.

Amazing atmosphere lovely place beautifully decorated, accompanied by a fab little motor museum, which if you had visited the cafe ,you could access for free. Excellent gluten free food and cake choices too. Going to come back when we pass by in Spring. Look forward to our return visit- would highly recommend for great food and service!

Very interesting place. Just had coffee and a scone. There are a large selection of cakes and other food available. Interesting selection of classic cars and you can look into the garage to see ongoing restoration.

Loved it. Excellent value, friendly and dutiful staff, efficient for how busy it was and what a fabulous interior rammed full of motor and textile heritage to excite your eyes... the vintage car garage next door as good as any heritage museum in the North. 5 stars.

Let's face it... This is the best place for anyone who has a hunger for cars and food. I've been going for a long time now, the atmosphere is amazing, the smell of classic cars and breakfast is a dream. We have 2 kids and they love the breakfast they have to offer and dinner time foods. Not only this but the milkshakes are so nice. Don't forget on your way out to buy a couple of cakes for later. Absolutely love this place! If you haven't been then you have to!
