Recently had my wedding meal at Tollgate Inn.Staff were accommodation,nothing was too much hassle. Food was very good, and big portions.

We have always loved to Tollgate after a walk around the Courts. It is still great. Friendly & helpful service and good quality food. It would be nice to have a 'lighter' menu for lunch, maybe a sandwich rather than a burger but what we all had was very tasty. Fantastic malbec!
Amazing food! We had a very good experience here two nights in a row.
We ate the Pie of the day and the calf liver with mushrooms and mash potatoes.
We tried different ales but the best one was the local Gem ale and the apple cider.

Stayed here on business whilst visiting clients. I stayed in the Parsley room and the room decoration was to a high standard. I was just let down by the windows which didn't fully close. This wouldn't have been a problem but it faced the main road which was quite busy.
Driven past here on numerous occasions. Ate there last night and was surprised at how busy it was...you'd never know from the road. Place was buzzing. Food was excellent, as was the friendly service. Will definitely return

The Tollgate Inn is a really warm and friendly place to have a drink or a delicious meal. The owners and staff are delightful and so friendly and willing to make sure your experience there is a good one. There's a pub quiz every alternate Tuesday in the marquee which is always fun and well attended
Lovely lunch, menu could be slightly bigger but very good food and service.
It is a lovely place, with friendly staff. Loads of space to relax.

AMAZING. Visited with a couple of friends today for lunch and we were all seriously impressed. I had the homemade pie of the day which was without doubt the best pie I have ever had. One of my friends had a the homemade pasta and the other the fish goujon sandwich. Both said their meals were serious
Another great meal. Very tasty Scotch egg followed by lamb and chickpea pie. Their pies are always extremely good. They also provided an extra small soup on request for my partner with a small appetite.
My family and me (four people), stayed in The Tollgate Inn, the 18 and the 23 of July, the room was a family room, the cottage. This was an excellent choice, the breakfast was really delicious and the sttaf very kind and helpful.
