Stopped here and straight away liked look of place. Plenty of parking. Warm and welcoming inside with plenty of seating inside. They were constantly busy with lunchtime meals and food looked and smelled lovely. Staff friendly and welcoming and lovely atmosphere. Will definitely go again to eat and j
We'd been left short in a busy period (nightmare of a story). Three days in Exeter and Hotel/Inn hopping. Our second day we spent here. Oh. Gosh. Wow. Rooms.. immaculate and super comfortable. Food, yum. Service, outstanding. Plenty of space outside, green and lush, well kept. Watched the bunnies in
Just popped by for dinner. We live locally. Pub was busy but not crowded and service was superb. Attentive whilst not in your face and our dinners came out really quickly. Our ploughman's were amazing and our kids really enjoyed their sausages and fish too. Happy customers will come again.
Had rump steak it was cooked really well and there was no fat it was a lovely piece of meat. Tender and tasty. Alfie our dog was made very welcome
We had the best Sunday lunch ever. Would thoroughly recommend it. It's also well worth pre ordering your lunch when asked. It makes everything seem relaxed !

Friendly and comfortable place. Our newly refurbished room was pretty and the shower very good.Tell them ahead however if you want less mainstream things such as plain yoghurt or no added sugar muesli for breakfast. Otherwise breakfast was pretty good - especially the poached eggs!
Just passing through on our way from Cornwall to Folkestone. Just had a quick drink, but loads better than our original plan to stop at Starbucks and it's just a few minutes off the motorway. People having lunch and their food looked amazing too!
I have been craving a ploughman’s for a couple of weeks. I was recommended to come here and try the ploughman’s which I did yesterday with my husband. Wow it was delicious. This was our first visit and we will certainly come back again. Service was spot on and the food was excellent.
