We were married at Honiton Family Church on 10th March 2018 and held our wedding breakfast and evening reception at Lakeview Manor. We had previously looked at other venues in the area but fell in love with Lakeview as soon as we saw it and met Julie, our outstanding wedding organiser. No matter what we asked, Julie and her team had the answer and could give us the reassurance that we needed, always with a warm, personal touch. The grounds at Lakeview are spectacular. We have some beautiful wedding photos by the lake and in the grounds as well as in various locations within the building itself. 146 people attended the wedding breakfast and our 3 course meal was delicious. We had 18 tables in the marquee and everyone was served promptly with generous servings of hot food. A number of dietary requests were made and the chef accommodated these admirably, also providing children’s options for the 30 children present. The waiting staff were all friendly and very helpful. Whatever we wanted was no trouble at all. At our evening reception, the house DJ couldn’t be faulted with his outstanding playlist and we had what must be the best buffet that we have ever had. There was so much variety and quantity, once again catering for the numerous guest dietary requirements. It was great that Lakeview had some bigger rooms, such as the Upper Clock Tower (sleeping 6 adults), the Lower Clock Tower (sleeping 7 adults) and the Groom Cottage (sleeping 4 adults). This meant that larger sized families could sleep together in the apartments. Our guests filled all 17 rooms and apartments at the hotel. which meant that we could share a hearty 3 course family breakfast the following morning before going our separate ways. We really couldn’t fault Lakeview on anything and we have received numerous compliments, not only about the excellent food, but also about the friendly staff and the hotel in general. Their attention to detail was outstanding and everything was done with a smile. I would recommend Lakeview Manor to anyone and cannot praise the location, building and staff enough. We had our wedding here in 2014. Julie and the team were amazing nothing was a problem. They made our wedding day perfect! We returned last night and again it was amazing. We had lovely room with a massive bed! The food was delicious and was great to see Julie again. We will return! ��

Stayed in a lovely lodge called dragonfly.. very clean and everything you wanted. Lovely and peaceful overlooking the trees and lake. All the staff very friendly and welcoming.. we had some lovely walks. Would definitely recommend for a few nights away.

Amazing place . Nice a quiet . Great for walks in the woods and for fishing . Great food in the restaurant and friendly staff there to help with anything you need

Arrived yesterday for a 2 night stay in one of the lodges, weather has been horrendous but to be honest that is the only negative that I can find. Accommodation is amazing, beautiful lodges. The staff so so friendly and nothing to much trouble, especially Laura who served us this evening at dinner. Although busy on her own, she had time to chat to our children and made us all feel welcome and the service she offered made the experience amazing. Would totally recommend and look forward to visiting again soon! Thank you Laura you’re a credit to Lakeview Manor x
