The review is wrote first (see below) was an honest review and unfortunately forced me to only give 2 stars :(
However since writing that review I've had the pleasure of dealing with blacks burgers again and my god did they make up for it. Simon is just the best at what he does and I'm so so happy that they took my views seriously and had one of the best takeaways ever. They really do treat you well.
The food was on point this time and the service was second to none.
So as for my new rating it'll be 5* all the way.
What a wonderful place and by far the best food in horley.

I'll just start by saying that i originally had the best eat in meal here a month or so ago and don't get me wrong it was up there, and could not fault it.
However, we decided to get a take out tonight and my god it was not the same.
First I had to wait to collect the food i ordered because there was only one member of staff taking orders whilst two just sat there.
I basically had to sit and watch my bag of food going cold.
When we made it home 30 seconds down the road we dug in.
The burgers were warm at best and just looked awful, presentation went right out the window.
I got the upgraded premium cheese fries and my partner got the regular fries so you'd expect mine to be a little better. This was not the case, she got twice the chips and all I got was a few grates of cheese, on the plus side it did make us laugh.
Although this experience has not been the best I would highly recommend eating in and would like to think id go back.
(only if they'll let me after this review of course )
Excellent customer service with food even better to match. Great food, great people and build your own burger. What more can you ask for. Highly recommend without question. No other burger restaurant have even come close to these guys!
We found this place on line when looking for a takeaway and decided to go and check it out . The staff was so helpful and cared about our dietary requirements. I don't eat gluten or dairy and I had a lovely filling meal made just for my needs. The food was beautifully cooked and my kids were full and enjoyed it too. Highly recommended π
By far the best burgers in town if not the county! Fantastic service, friendly helpful staff. The beef patties are of the best quality and you can taste that in every bite. The spicy wings are outstanding and as are most of the sides to be honest. Also make sure to grab a selection of dips and mayo. The chipotle, garlic and peanut butter ones are addictive. For me this is the place to eat after a heavy day in the gym where you can ignore the calories and just enjoy the food!
First visit here today for part of my daughters birthday celebration. It certainly wonβt be our last!!
Superb food - a complicated order for 8 of us was spot on. Exceptionally well cooked & tasty fresh food. First class service by friendly and efficient staff and spotlessly clean & tidy!
Well worth a trip.... for anyone who has driven passed it and wondered what it was like it is well worth a visit!

Have to say when I got our order home I was a little disappointed as we were missing a couple of items. But we rang them and I went back to the restaurant to, what I thought collect the missing items I was met by Marc who gave his apologise and said they would redo the whole order and was really apologetic and even throw in a couple of brownies. I have to say this was way beyond and the food when we got to eat was out of this world the best burger I have eaten and will definitely be going back
First time ordering today. We were really impressed with the burgers with lots of options to add toppings. Our only complaint would be the cajun fries were way to cajuny, sitting in cajun dust.
Delivery did come very quick and polite driver.
Definitely ordering again!
Have both eaten in and taken away from blacks many times and it is amazing every time! Burgers are unreal and shakes are the best Iβve had! Staff also seem happy to be there and very friendly! Great restaurant!
We tried the extended delivery last night. The food arrived on time, the order was correct, the quality of the burgers, fries, chicken strips and dips was very high and it was all delicious. It was however a bit cold but we stuck the chips in the oven and then they were great. Yummy
Best place in Horley for food. The service is always friendly and helpful, but the burgers are fantastic. Seriously, no better place around for a fun and casual meat fix! Great stuff Phil and the team!

Great little place. I love blacks burgers. They have a easy menu. The burgers are really good. You can have loads of extras on your burger for no charge. I like that they have peanut butter option. They are located next to let's explore and let's golf so loads to do. They sell alcohol and are never really busy that you have to wait. The staff are friendly.
One of the best burger places ever! Always fast service and a great takeaway aswell. Milkshakes are to die for. Have visited regularly over the last 2 years only had one negative experience and this was rectified quickly by the staff.
First thing I must mention is that its not a standalone restaurant, it's within the 'Lets Golf, virtual reality golf' building, I did not know this and drove past it a couple of times. I will post a picture of the exterior albeit in the dark. Now into the burgers!! The burgers were cooked fresh by the friendly staff and are good value and very tasty. There's lots of options with the FREE toppings, so you can have your burger pimped up. The peanut butter makes a great dip for the fries if you want to try something different. All in all a great experience and not too far from Gatwick airport. Would recommend if you have a burger craving.
So, after several weeks in Europe we had an overnight staying at a Gatwick airport hotel before returning to Canada. Not wanting to eat dreary airport or hotel food, we walked up to Horley (30 mins away... Just take the forrested path up London Road and take a right on Brighton) and checked out Black's Burgers because it was well reviewed on Google.
Being a Friday night it was pretty busy with families (being right next to, or a part of, Let's Race) and we waited maybe 20 minutes for food after we ordered. But... It was worth the wait. The burgers were super delicious. We also ordered soft drinks, fries and a Coca Cola float. We also chatted a bit with the folks who worked there and everyone was friendly with a laid back personality. Worth the trip up from the airport and definitely walkable!
Best burgers in the area, we've been many times and never been disappointed. Generous quality portions well worth the money! The TIGER WOODHOUSE is my current favorite. Nice venue too, you can see them cooking your food and watch people playing virtual golf.
OMG what a burger, quite possibly one of the nicest and flavour some burgers I've had....the choice of different burgers and different toppings is immense...and the chips are to die for, next time I'm gonna try the Cajun chips for extra flavour. ...yes they even cater for the veggies out there...you will not be disappointed...yes it's more expensive that mcd/whop but it's gourmet burgers....oh and the server was cute..π

Burger was one of the best veggie burgers I've had.
Brownie was nice but it's pretty much a brownie with a kinder Bueno baked into it. Probably just get the tripe choco one next time.

Had one of the best ever chicken burgers. Nice and exactly as ordered. Very friendly staff. Would certainly return for more. I am sure the negative experiences by other reviewers are due to delivery company. 5 star!!
Absolutely delicious cheese burgers!! Beef "pigcasso" + peanut butter and crispy fried onions is the way to go!!
