Loved the place. Went with the family and we all had a blast. Great atmosphere, friendly staff and owner. Even the local customers are friendly and welcoming. To top it all of the beer and their service was also fantastic.
My boyfriend's band Breakout played here last night, always liked this local pub for its friendly staff and amazing mix of people. This definitely proved to be the point last night.The place was rocking...people dancing & singing. From ages 18 to 70! Warm,inviting..a great venue..can't wait too he back guys x

Good location, easy to get to, bar staff know their stuff. Beer garden and outside seating available.
Not sure about food - think it's crisps and nuts. Pool table when bands are not playing, and good solid tables.
Not sure if it was on purpose but it feels like the noise insulation was improved massively after your refurbishment. Thank you! Never complained before but it's alot gentler now
Went to the open mic on a tuesday evening. Great atmosphere, friendly people and some really good music. What's not to like.
Nice and cozy pub, cider & beer on tap, we were lucky to see live rock band because of some event, we had a blast.
Had a fun night at the Tavern, not the biggest of pubs but a good selection of drinks 👍
I don't think I have ever been to a pub with such a great atmosphere and such a variety of evening entertainment.

A very classic English pub with a spread of a dozen local and global tabs. It offers numerous extras like free pool games all day long on Mondays, singer & songwriter meetups on Tuesdays, quizes on Thursdays, karaoke on Fridays and live music gigs on weekends. Very reasonably priced and overwhelming occupied with male neighbourhood it is loud and buzzy. Parking is plenty in the evenings. Do check out if you are around the venue.
Great bar...always good music and great crowd..only thing is the place is always so hot....fingers crossed they get aircon...
