Lovely walk with my lab , nice cafe and shop, will go again, hopefully won’t be as muddy next time. We followed the 5 mile designated route - took under 2 hours but was a bit hard going at times in the mud .
We took our 3 girls to visit santa today and I must say it was the best santa visit I have ever took them on deffinately well worth the money that we paid to go all 3 of my girls enjoyed every minute of the visit. Santa and Mrs clause were amazing with the kids.
Thankyou to all the staff for a fantastic experience.
Favorite place to walk my dogs. Large space meaning I could walk for hours. Would recommend to anyone wanting to do long walks.

Loved every moment of my time there, great place to go. Would highly recommend it
Great place. Plenty of parking in several areas, lovely tea room, maps for the variety of walking and cycling paths available in the shop for 20p. Spent a very pleasant afternoon just walking on the forest paths in the shade. Be aware this place isn’t flat though!
The first thing that sprung to mind, as I drove Northbound along the busy A3, approaching the turning to Queen Elizabeth Country Park was..."Holy Hell! That was a tight turn!"
Once I'd found a place to park and taken out a Mortgage on my modestly sized flat to pay for a few hours parking...I used the well maintained, Visitor Centre facilities to check that I hadn't fertilised my Boxer-Shorts, before taking stock of my surroundings.
The following epiphany came quite quickly...there were bloody trees EVERYWHERE!
It's probably hard to imagine, if you haven't witnessed the spectacle for yourself. But seriously...if you like trees, then this is the place for you! I'm not talking about a particularly well maintained remembrance garden or the product of some kind of overly ambitious, 'green thumbs' initiative, here! I mean that the bloody things were stretching out, as far as I could see!
I'll admit that I wasn't quite as besotted with the incline of the topography. But the walk paths were interesting and before long, me and my party found ourselves searching for the planets in our Solar System, which were signified by wooden signs, spaced out in a scale that was appropriate to their orbital positions.
Sadly, we never got as far as Pluto. But taking into account the reality of the almost mind-boggling distances between the various objects in the outer Solar System, I fear that the scale may have demanded for the distant sphere's signifying plaque, to be in a neighbouring town. Or at least much deeper in the Forest.
Since the Scientific World has recently seen fit to confuse our childhood by wiping Pluto from the list of regular Planets, in favour of the new 'Plutoid' classification...we felt justified in giving up our search and heading back to the Cafe for a well deserved cup of Tea and a slice of Chocolate Cake.
In summary...Trees, Hills, Parking and Planets. So a great location for an afternoon stroll. Just watch that corner...it's a Doozey!
It’s a great place to relax. There are loads of activities especially those who love to keep themselves busy.
Father Christmas experience is wonderful. We had a mishap with our booking but the staff were so helpful in sorting. All of the elves were fab and my daughter absolutely loved the activities. She's never been completely sure of Father Christmas but he was great, really magical. Thank you
I come here quite a bit to ride the bike trails built by the qecp trail collective. But Im really impressed with the new BBQ, assualt course and dog training areas. I would really like to see more bins as there are dog poo bags discarded everywhere! Also to do more educate walkers to stay off the trails. It's for their own good!
Love this place, great walking with my dog and great cafe
A great place, good camping, good events, good riding!
Nice and friendly with good service and food. Ideal after a 5 - 10 mile hike around the country park 👌
2nd time visiting in the last month, both times Staff very friendly, helpful and accommodating .The food was delicious and outside seating area was busy but clean.
Amazing cafe, friendly staff and very clean, lots to choose from and great for those with dietary requirements, dog and child friendly with lots of seating inside and outside.
Great food, but ran out of what I wanted. Good place to stop for a break
This is a great place to stop and get something to eat and drink when you've finished on the trails. Choice of hot and cold food as well as hot and cold drinks. Indoor and outdoor seating available.
I would thoroughly recommend the Smoothies on a hot day and Jude's Doggy Ice Cream for the 4 legged members of the group.
Lovely service and staff, Very clean, Great fresh food and coffee, perfect place to relax with a book or pick up a take-away whilst walking the dog. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
Adapted well to the covid age, decent selection of snacks and drinks, prices not too outrageous. Staff very helpful and the cafe has a good flow through it. Seating sparse and outdoor only though for the moment
Lovely clean and tidy cafe with plesant staff. Food not up to scratch had to return 2 scones as they were so hard and dry. Staff did not quibble and did so without objection so all good in the end. Parking a lot expensive just over 2hours £5
Lovely place but bring back the play park near the cafe and the theater, and there used to be a big gift shop, it didnt have to change, it was perfect and all these lovely walks are all tryting to be too modern but we dont like it. We like good old fashion plain, simple designed places. Most of my fav childhood dog walks and places to walk have been ruined by the contant need for modern. Please, dont change any more of these beautiful hapshire walks, we like it simple
I love this place since a small child and it is absolutely huge! With bike trails and footpaths galore. Expanses of green and the most amazing dog courses and children's play areas. Awesome
I had originally given this place a five star review but since the revamp I've dropped it to 4 stars. Simply because of the choice of food is now limited and they got rid of the amazing boar sausages haha but still a great place.
Cracking venue for outdoor walks or incredible mountain bike trails.
A nice family outing on a dreary, misty, Saturday afternoon on the South Coast.
The cafe is being renovated so we ended up in the marquee on the meadow. We had a sandwich, a tea, coffee and a chocolate bar, at just under ten pound so a bit pricey but I suppose they have a captive audience.
The new cafe is really decent down there, it's unclear what they're going to do with the rest of the space at the bottom. At the top the assault course is excellent for kids and the forest is beautiful this time of year
