In my opinion I think this restaurant deserves more people coming there because the food was one of the best foods, Me and my family really enjoyed a lot we Complimented the service a lot and the staffs good, we even got some Garlic and coriander nan - basically bread! We loved everything and the bread too! Please go you will enjoy and love it so much!!!
Fantastic food. I had vegetable korma with coconut rice and my friend had chicken version with rice. I am in a food coma now, so good and tasty 😋. Great service and I enjoyed watching the bubbles in the lobby area 🤣🙌
I always love to come and see my friends here and have a nice pint of Cobra while I'm waiting for my food.

I’ve been visiting Sonali Spice in Hornsea for almost ten years now. Last night we had a take away. The food all tasted really good. We have always been happy with the quality at Sonali Spice. I have to say though, that quantity wise, I doubt we got value for money. My meat Madras came in a tin tray filled to the brim with madras sauce but only about six or seven pieces of meat. That worked out at almost £1 per piece. The Sonali Special Platter (for two) which cost £9.95 was quite small also. Overall, we were very happy with the quality but not too happy with the quantity.

Thoroughly enjoyed my visit and my Takeaway. Staff very friendly and informative. A very busy place for eating in and for Takeaways which is always a good sign.
5 Star Rating for hygiene.
Food - a good selection, I'm a vegetarian and there was plenty for me, as well as Carnivores. They also do Vegan.
Menu Flexibility - one of the regular customers waiting near me said they adjusted his meals so there was less fat. I found mine was not swimming in fat.
Taste test - passed with flying colours.
Waiting time - a long wait, but they were working through a lot of customers in the main Restaurant, telephone and people coming in for Takeaway Orders. I felt they dealt with people fairly and in good order. My Takeaway was checked to ensure I had everything before I left.
Access - 1 steep step in, toilets on the same level, but door and turning for wheelchair users not too good.
Car parking - car park across the road and nearby on street parking. There are a few unofficial places on the pavement in front of the shop for those collecting.
Refurbishment - they are going to refurbish the whole place sometime this year.
My order: Veg Byriani, Bhindi (Okra, beautifully cooked), Stuffed Peshwari Naan (would have liked a little more stuffing) and Onion Raita.
I will certainly go again.

Well we really enjoyed our meal, and from the sound of It, so did everyone else. The restaurant was busy but service was prompt. We are new to Hornsea and we will be returning again - tasty.
We were walking around town and we noticed quite a few people going into the restaurant and decided this must be the place to eat We managed to get a table for two and had a really tasty flavoursome curry The herbs and spices in it were absolutely awesome.
Lovely meal. Service was excellent and the restaurant was very nice and clean. Price wasn't bad either. Would definitely go again.
Lovely meal last night for my brothers birthday. Food was amazing and the service was top class. Thank you 👍🍺
