Called in for lunch. We all ordered from the lunch menu. As you would expect, the choice was limited. However, there was a nice selection. The food could have been served a little quicker. However, it was delicious.
Lovely welcome here today. Nice to get out of the wind too! Burger, chicken strips, and pie all excellent. Good portion sizes and well priced. Staff were lovely, nothing too much trouble. Would happily visit again.
Love this boozer, bar staff are always friendly, when i first came here i was having banter with them. The atmosphere is great, it's genuinely busy in the summer but not too busy that it's not enjoyable being there. There's plenty of seats indoors, it's pretty big, and there's good seating outside,
Amazing place to spot for lunch. Vegan katsu curry was much better than we expected. Scampi was amazing too well done guys.
We almost dismissed this gem of a place after looking from the outside and it looking a little weathered. But it is right next to the see and keeping a building like this pristine must be pretty tough! Never judge a book by its cover!

Come in here a lot when in Hornsea, always nice. This weekend the music has been a bit too loud though, everyone then shouting at each other! Just turn it down a notch early on when people are eating

Had an evening meal here and returned for breakfast the next day. The food was great and good value.
The establishment exudes a delightful ambiance, offering reasonably priced beverages and comfortable outdoor seating arrangements. It is unfortunate that the weather conditions were not more favorable.
Nice place for a lunch, tea etc.. an establishment for middle aged adults on a brisk day in Hornsea.. nice ambience with very little “kiddie” noise, not a bad thing! Good quality food but maybe a tad small for the more “peckish” amongst us, prices are reasonable tho’ and quality is good..
Nice staff thou, you can be waiting in queue for awhile. Same line for food orders and drink orders. Great views of sea and beach. Plenty of room seating inside and outside. Front and back gardens seating areas. Good ale and delicious food.

Just simply put, absolutely spot on..
Some could argue high prices but the cook on the food and presentation along with the flavours coupled with the views and you soon start thinking it could cost a lot more..
The cafe prefers cash but can accommodate card payments via the boat house..
