Really nice food but very slow with drinks order didn't come till after we had received our food

Our friend took us to this place as he'd been before. He had the crispy chicken burger, whilst we had the fish finger sandwich 🥪 - wow, we were struggling to eat the sandwich, it was so filling......so much so we only had a cup a soup at the end of the day as we couldn't manage anything else.

Called in for some lunch. We had a sandwich, which came with a small side salad, and we upgraded to add fries. The food was nice and the staff were polite and friendly. The service was quick.

After being let down by another local business, our party of 10 gave them a call to check if they had space for us, as well as vegan options. Within 20 minutes they had a table set up and reserved, had alerted the kitchen of the large order, and arranged everything we needed.
If that wasn't enough, the food was amazing. I personally had the vegan chilli nachos, and the portion size was insane! Everyone else in our party spoke highly of their food, and couldn't say a bad word about it.
Our server, Hayley, was brilliant. There were a couple of kids in the group, and her easy attitude with them helped with keeping them calm until the food arrived. She was also really helpful with the adults in the group answering questions, especially about the specials, and giving prompt service.
I highly recommend this place, especially for groups with mixed dietary requirements.

Smashing food & drink here. We didn't realise the little discounts till we ordered, nice surprise! Lad with the beard really looked after us, we didn't get his name but a real credit to himself & his employers..

Stopped for a coffee and cake. Fantastic little outside space, very warm and sunny a nice little sun trap to watch the world. Kids had a special hot chocolate with extras whic went down very well and although we didn’t eat, we saw the breakfasts come out and they looked fantastic! Will be back to try the food

What a lovely pub to visit with the family. A lovely cosy place with kind and helpful staff who welcomed the whole family, including the dog (who got special treats!) Nothing was too much trouble, the food was delicious. Would not hesitate to return when next in the area.
