It's definitely worth going out of your way to visit. I took my 88 year old mother, and she loved it. Surrounded with so many memories, she enjoyed regaling me again with her evacuee stories, too😉. Loved the fun menu and the food was good - no rationing on the amount of beef from the chosen roast👍.
This place is a real gem. Not only is it fully decked out in WW2 style but even the music and the menu are reminiscent of WW2 British culture. The food was tasty and service was super quick too. The staff are all lovely and fall over themselves to help you. As a bonus dogs on leads are allowed insid
A surprising find, and a must visit either before or after seal watching. Amazing collection of 40's memorabilia both downstairs and upstairs, with additional gift shop with loads more tea cosies (before you ask, as everyone does, they don't have any spitfire ones). Food was lovely (would probably r
Wonderful 1940's themed cafe offering coffee/tea and cake or cooked breakfasts of varying sizes, lunch or afternoon tea. Delicious food, 1940's music and staff dressed appropriately for the era. We sat downstairs but there was more seating upstairs. In warmer months you can also sit outside. We went
Wanted to try this place after we saw a YouTube review by "Gary Eats" and weren't disappointed. What a lovely place 😊 full of nostalgia and loved the themed background music too. Staff were friendly, and the food was tasty. Had a mooch around the gift shop outside afterwards which had some really ni
Great fun, war time memorabilia. friendly service, nice welcome. Dog friendly . I'd advise seating downstairs if you don't want to have to dine amongst dogs at other tables as this place,as it attracts dog walker's ,which are sat upstairs. Food is great 👍 tradition cooking & baking at its best. Gen
What a brilliant homage to a wartime life style. You'll be surrounded by memorabilia of the 40's both in times of peace and war. The theme is carried inside and outside the premises with a touch of humour. Loads to learn for the young and reminisce for the elders. The food is great, plenty of choi
Brilliant place to eat. Interesting decor and superb staff. Cannot speak highly enough of Jess who went out of her way to help us in everything. Wonderful lady. Loved the kindness and fuss shown to our Border Collie who really enjoyed her sausage lunch. We will be back and if you're a dog parent we
Smashing place way out in the sticks on the Norfolk coast. Themed with a wartime 40’s feel, there are some interesting features and memorabilia. We had breakfast. A nice plate of food well presented the sausages were very nice. The menu states clearly there are no substitutions for items, that’s a b
This is a great place if you are looking for some excellent traditional English grub with hosts that are engaging and eager to please! Great good, awesome theming
What a lovely place. We live fairly close but had never visited until today. A lovely cosy atmosphere with lovely food and quick and very friendly service. There are some really nice, varied options on the menu and all for a great price. We will be visiting more often.
I recently had the pleasure of dining at the World War II-themed cafe/restaurant, and it was an extraordinary experience. The service was impeccable, with a staff that was not only friendly but also well-versed in the historical context, adding depth to the visit.
The food was outstanding, with a m
All I can say is, brilliant.
The food (Cornbeef hash) was so tasty. The service was first. I love bringing family and friends to share the atmosphere, because it’s thrilling and wonderful.
Thank you and all the staff.
It has a great atmosphere downstairs or upstairs with lots of original wartime artefacts.
Lovely food and very reasonable prices.
Very quirky cafe near the coast. It is like going back in time to the 1940s and WWII. Food is top-notch. Very nostalgic and traditional English fayre. Good place to take your Nanna to.
What an amazing place, fabulous food, service and the wartime memorabilia was great. Was very busy so best to book if going for lunch. We had afternoon tea, had to be the best one I've ever had. So much food but took what was left home. The menu is set out great with some lovely dishes from the past
Lovely little gem of a cafe, a proper bounce back in time, world war 2 vibes and nicely done. Tea cosies hand knitted and all different, we loved Winston! Planes on the ceiling. Great cakes (even the very modern, 1950's! recipe cherry, raspberry and coconut cake) which we loved, and a good selection
Popped in here after seeing the seals, lovely service, friendly, plenty to see aswell inside :) dog friendly too with a little shop
