The Orchard - Horsham - Photo album

A lovely little cafe that's next to the old West Grinstead railway station (perfect rest stop if walking or cycling the North Downs Link path). If you have dogs they aren't allowed in the cafe, although the orchard itself has plenty of tables (some covered) & water bowls for the dogs. Our sandwiches
Had forgotten just what a gem this place is as no longer commute past. Decided to drop in today for a lunch after a trip over to the Bluebell Railway as wanted something nicer and more enjoyable atmosphere than Mc D's just down the road. So glad we did. Food was miles more pleasant and the atmosphe
Well done The Orchards! 20 of us had booked for a breakfast celebration at Cotes Horsham, when we arrived, East Street had no water. We phoned The Orchards and they saved the day. Large group, short notice, food & service fantastic. Well done & Thank you
Today l attended a motorcycle club turn up at this "Fantastic Place ". The service was fabulous the food tasty and divine. When we arrived the lady serving us said that they were short staffed and service would be a bit slower. We had 13 bikers turn up. Plus the rest of the restaurant was full. We h
Toby and gang had a super full english breakfast at The Orchard (outside in the actual orchard!) today. Everything was excellent as usual and Sarah greeted us like old friends, with attentive service from other staff too. The vegetarian option was superb and the staff dealt with our complicated orde
Pretty little garden to rear with plenty of shaded tables. Ample parking. Fantastic walk/ bike ride pathway behind (East Grinstead old railway). Recommended the homemade coffee and walnut cake - wow! Bought more to take home for later!
Really well organised, precise and extremely clean. Good food was freshly prepared and arrived efficiently. A lot of well trained staff that must enable volumes of people to be served for peak demand. Internally is perhaps a bit bland for some, reflecting the attention to detail in everything, but t
Lovely gardens where dogs are welcomed. Tasty toasted sandwich. Delicious Eton Mess
We had an off the cuff visit but were easily accommodated. The menu choice was huge for the size of the restaurant. Everything was homemade and was absolutely delicious, with the quiche being a particular highlight. The owner was friendly and the whole experience was an absolute pleasure.
Lovely atmosphere, great food and spotlessly clean. The lady serving is so lovely and very attentive, she has a very calming way about her and made us feel very at home. Would recommend to all, we will defiantly visit again!
I would come back as the service was very good. I feel the portions could be slightly larger and overall may be aimed at the over 60's. I had the stew with dumplings which was very tasty. The menu is quite extensive with something for everyone. Pricing is average for this area. Large carpark but be
This is an excellent place to eat. It has an excellent range of dishes and beverages both alcoholic and non alcoholic. If you're a diabetic there is ice cream for diabetics which was really nice. This is a good place to eat. The downs link path runs behind the building along a disused railway line,
We were staying in the area and called in for a Birthday meal. The Orchard is basically a large restaurant serving plain English food and very good at it to. The meal and service were both excellent. The owner/staff was very helpful, welcoming and made you feel at home. They open at 8 o'clock for br
Had a lovely lunch here, good home cooked food and lots of it. As always a warm and friendly welcome. Definitely worth a visit.
We stopped by chance as we were reaching the end of our journey. All that we wanted was a cup of tea and a quick bite to eat. We were met by a friendly welcome and a large and delicious selection of cakes and other delicious things to enjoy with our tea. Very friendly and kind staff who are willing
Freindly owner and staff. Clean environment, well spaced tables and chairs. Lovely outside area with shade and bicycle stands. Great stop off if you're riding the Down's Way or passing by road. We only had a takeaway sausage sandwich and hot chocolate. The kind owner allowed us to park here with a
For a roadside convenience food stop this is surprisingly quiet and borderline posh. The kindly staff are pleasant and helpful. Food well cooked and flavorful basic fare from breakfast to afternoon. Massive car park and can get busy but service is normally efficient and quick. If walking the downsli

Nice service from the staff. Had the breakfast there on a few occasions and it has been consistently good. Can get busy on peak dates such as fathers day so would recommend ringing ahead and booking a table.
