Fantastic small village pub. Went for a quiz, the hosts were very friendly and the nibbles lovely. Lots of character and the resident dog gives a warm welcome :)

I literally cannot recommend this place highly enough. The food is to die for, and the staff and landlord are so welcoming. Went above and beyond the call of duty to ensure our visit was top notch. A real hidden gem and we shall be returning soon. Thank you Richard & staff xx

Came for Sunday lunch. It was lovely. With plenty of meat and cauliflower cheese which was amazing. Great retro puddings and all at a good price. We will definitely return.

A proper village inn, truly delicious food at weekends at very reasonable prices and excellent ales (never thought I would drink Tristan da Cunha's Island Brew here -- but I did!). If you're in the area, call in - not open Monday - Thurs lunchtimes or Tues evenings but otherwise, spot on!
