Brigadeer Gerard - Horton Heath - Photo album

Friendly warm welcome with treats for our two dogs. We had five different meals, all of which were delicious, hot and very generous portions. Pleasant staff, all with ready smiles and a true wish to bring us a happy dining experience. Can’t wait to go back and try some of the other delicious-looking
Love going to the Brigadier Gerard. The range of food is not extensive but what they have on the menu and their specials is cooked well and is tasty. Ideal for those with smaller appetites some of their meals are available in smaller portion sizes, bigger than a children's meal but not as big as a f
Me and my family visited today for our 50th wedding anniversary and were made very welcome by all the extremely friendly staff, as we were when we also celebrated my 70th birthday there back in July. The food was well cooked and plentiful. Thank you so much for making both occasions so enjoyable. Da
The roast dinner was very tasty with plenty of roast pork, but the roasties were like boiled potatoes! They were cut quite large which didn't give them time to brown and crisp. The rest of the dinner was great. πŸ‘
As pub food goes you can't beat it. I had the fish and chips. Nice atmosphere. 4 real ales on tap. My children also liked it as their empty plates suggest.
I booked a table in advance & asked if I could park my motorhome in their car park overnight & they readily said yes & at no charge! We received a very friendly welcome in this lovely dog friendly pub! πŸ‘ The food was very tasty & excellent value for money! πŸ‘πŸ˜‹ One slight criticism the table was quite
Pub was recommended to us by a friend so it was our first visit. Brilliant! Lovely relaxed atmosphere and we all had Sunday lunch which I can honestly say is one of the best I've had for many a year. The Lamb was to die for and apparently it had been slow roasted for several hours. Wonderful. The h
The second time we have been here under the different management. This pub richly deserves a 5 star review. Excellent all round.
We had a good meal and decent beer, only slight grouse was that the desserts took longer to come than expected, it shouldn't take long at all to serve ice cream!
Very cozy place. People were nice. The pizza πŸ• we ordered wasn’t so bad. Toilets very clean and good parking available.
Went for lunch with a friend last week, and was very warmly welcomed by a lady that served us. Very helpful and knowledgeable about the food. I would throughly recommend and look forward to going back with my husband .
The sharing fish platter was excellent. And I really enjoyed the fish pie. I had the smaller portion, but they also offer a larger one, which is a really good feature.
It's a really nice place for a lunchtime get-together for our family with excellent food, and they allow well-behaved dogs in.
What a gem of a find! We'd just finished Go Ape at Itchen Country Park and fortunately this came up on Maps as somewhere to eat. Such a beautiful place, lovely inside, excellent food and really friendly staff. Would definitely go again.
An absolute gem of a find whilst visiting Southampton. If you want good quality pub grub with great service and a fab atmosphere, the Brigadier will tick all the boxes!
My first visit for a long time, and it was very enjoyable. Good food and spot on service by lovely staff although very busy. Great garden and decor! πŸ˜†
Lovely garden to have few drinks, had nice bit of food, worth a visit friendly staff. Only criticism was starter portion of calamari was very small even for a starter but was very nice.
