very good to find such a good restaurant in terms of food /atmosphere in airport land .(T5 LHR) excellent staff , cosmopolitan and highly attentive/responsive . we enjoyed the degustation menu -7 courses but each sized so to enjoy the taste without over indulgent on quantity .highly recomend for a meeting with friends in transit as it is joined to T5 by covered walkway and close to transport to london
An amazing tasting menu from head chef Andrew Cole. The surprise extras and attention to detail made our meal a really special occasion. The staff were welcoming and the food was excellent! We would highly recommend and will definitely be returning for seconds!
A true gem of a restaurant! Peaceful, spacious, great decor, flawless service, and excellent food. I especially enjoyed the complimentary mini appetizer and dessert. There must be fancier, more appropriate words to describe those, but I know them not.

A good place for dinner. Located to the left from reception. Nice and open interior. The food was good but bear in mind dishes are relatively small. The Guinea fowl was tasty. I recommend this place.
Delicious food with clean and crisp flavors. Located inside the Sofitel Hotel at Terminal 5 the restaurant is a great place to escape from the busy airport surroundings.
Dinner at Heatrow Airport? One of the best culinary experiences ever! Every dish was excellent and well presented. The staff was kind and professional. Whoever runs the kitchen must be a perfectionist. 👌 Thank you, we'll definitely come back.
Yes it is expensive as expected but presentation, services and quality of the food is on par!
I will happily come back and enjoy their monkfish and crab cake or their tender beef with this yummy sauce.

My wife and I regularly stay at the T5 Sofitel when we’re catching early morning flights. This time we dined at La Belle Époque the evening we arrived. We will be sure to plan our future trips to dine here every time we stay…it was amazing. The atmosphere, food, wine and staff were all superlative. Our waiter, Kristian was incredibly attentive, polite, informed and efficient. His engaging personality was a highlight of the meal. We spent a good deal, but we had three excellent courses and a lovely bottle of wine. Restaurant Manager Carmine has done an amazing job of assembling and managing a top-notch staff. Thanks!
Our food and its presentation were excellent and reasonably priced given the quality of the ingredients and the cuisine. I'd definitely go back. It's only let down by its failure to disguise the fact that you are dining in an airport hotel.
I was hoping for an oasis inside Heathrow but the service and decor made sure you didn't forget where you were. Nevertheless it's one of the best airport hotel restaurants I've visited.

This is by far the best place to dine at Heathrow Airport. It's well worth the trip to terminal 5 if need be but make sure you have enough time to enjoy the relaxing atmosphere with great food wine and service.
