Half the food was spectacular and half was terrible. Service gets 5 stars. Overall we enjoyed our meal, just wish we’d skipped some dishes. Restraurant environment is nice but not amazing. - I ordered a dish with mashed potatoes and they forgot to include it. The dish came later with a mashed potato that is sinked in the meat soup. It was not similar to the photo I saw on Google map review so I did not eat it. I only paid for the drink which was $2.71 but the tip came more than $4.00 for the 18%. How come?!?

Salmon Caesar salad. As simple as it is, it's also easy to be boring. This salad is incredible! Yummiest salmon perfectly cooked and the dressing is fabulous. This time I tried something new and it was amazing! See pics. Also, service is excellent and great wine selection.

I came here with a group of girls for my friend's birthday. Unfortunately, something came up and she was an hour late to her dinner. The staff was extremely accommodating when we requested to hold the table. The interior is quite small, there is limited parking, and no bar! It had a nice romantic feel. A modern classic look with nice white linen on the table and candles and chandeliers barely lighting up the restaurant. I was not sure what type of restaurant it was since Yelp said it was american, but there were items on the menu that reminded me of fusion such as the ceviche and ahi tuna and lamb shank. There is complimentary bread that comes to the table if you request. There's sour dough and sweet bread. We ordered the following: Ceviche Wagyu meatballs Octopus Pasta Beef loin with asparagus and macaroni and cheese Lamb shank Duck two ways Cotton candy Moscato The ceviche was very fresh and came with these shrimp crackers. It came with red onion and avocado. The amount of lime juice was unreal but it's the amount I am used to when I go to hole in the walls. This was great to start off. 5/5 The wagyu meatballs were very moist and cooked well. It came with 4 small ping pong ball sized meatballs but worth it. The dish had mushrooms and I believe little balls of couscous. Nice hearty taste that would be perfect in a pasta in my opinion. I did get tired of it after a while, but it was a nice few bites! 4/5 Ordering the octopus is always a hit or miss. I wasn't sure if this would be good because many times people overcook it and it becomes extremely rubbery. The octopus was charred nicely and tender as you can get. This was delicious but I think it needed a bit of citrus. I liked this very much! 4/5 The pasta is great for people who don't eat meat. It comes with corn and all sorts of cheese. A great side in my opinion but it was done well. The sauce reminded me of richer alfredo sauce. Personally, I would not get this as a meal. 3/5 The beef loin was done so well. One of the best I've had. I asked for this to be cooked medium well and it was done just like that. It was tender and when you put your knife in it, it cut like butter! The asparagus with it was like ordinary asparagus but paired well with the dish. The macaroni was good too, but thought the noodles were over cooked. Super soggy, but it was satisfying. Definitely a dish I'd get again. 5/5 The lamb shank was extremely gamey. It was tender as can be, but once you bite into that meat, it tasted like they just killed the thing. An unpleasant aftertaste that I would not dig into again. The mashed potatoes were nice and fluffy at least. 3/5 Duck two ways was great. I'm so full at this point guys. I got this cooked medium and it was juicy and crispy at the same time. Not your typical asian style duck, it was more fragrant and a bit juicier. This was yummy! I could've lived without the radishes. 4/5 Cotton candy was complimentary for my friend. This was a cute way to celebrate instead of a traditional cake. Very fun with the sparklers and we had so much fun eating it. There was enough for us 5 and they give you a free one to go if you ask! The moscato is extremely sweet, warning. I love sweet, so this was just perfect for me. I believe the table had 5. For all of this, it was about $250. Not bad at all! Quality and service deserves a 5/5.

One final visit to Ibiza before they closed 😞 Grilled catch of the day and pulpo a la plancha The latter is still the most tender Portuguese-style octopus I’ve had in Houston. I’ll miss this place as it is (was!) one of my go-to restaurants in downtown.

Have you ever been to a place where EVERYTHING was just incredible. I'm new to Houston and come from a city where food is a big deal. I'd been mainly underwhelmed UNTIL stumbling on Ibiza for NYE. The arugula and burratta cheese was so fresh it transported me back to Italy. The lamb shank and duck were mouth watering (So tender, no knife was necessary). The brownie with salted caramel ice cream and toffee... all made in house. If I could give this place more stars I would. Great ambiance, service, food and drinks!!!! Date night and special occasion approved!

Pros: Diverse selection on lunch menu. Ceviche was fresh, calamari was tasty, and the octopus was one point. The chilean bass plate of the day was a nice blend of flavors. I'm looking forward to coming back to try more items and have some wine in the evening. Prices are responsible for the quaility.
