Vallone's Steakhouse

This is a fancy place, with a quiet atmosphere (i.e., don’t bring little kids, bring a person you wish to woo). If you like Caesar salad, you MUST try it here. They make it in portions for two and it is made tableside. This is the best Caesar salad I have ever had! I had steak tips with potatoes as well and they were amazing too. The only downside is the parking situation. If you don’t valet, you will get a good walk too.

Vallone's is a truly special place. The quality of the food is what you'd expect from the namesake. So is the service -- really impeccable. But what I like best about Vallone's is the diverse and approachable menu. It has Italian classics, tex-mex surprises, and great steak, meat and fish offerings. Despite the variety, everything is done well. On my last visit I had a fabulous steak with a pasta dish accompaniment that was really delicious. I am putting Vallone's into my rotation of Houston favorites to revisit.

Best place in memorial city and city centre. The food and service are impeccable. Wait staff is very attentive and knowledgeable. Stay off my meal with an old fashion that was perfect. Add delicious layer nachos because of a easier recommendation. Every time I go I get the tex. It is an 8 Oz steal with simple but amazing cheese enchiladas. My wife got the scallop and risotto special which was cooked perfectly. We shared the truffle Mac and cheese which is my wife's favorite. All the desserts are great we usually get bannans foster but last time we got a praline cheesecake that was delicious. Could not recommend any more than I do already. They have a great happy hour too.

I've been here repeatedly for the aged steak. If you are in the Houston area then you have to make time for Vallone's. This is truly the ultimate steak house! Jose Cruz will treat you like royalty & make you feel right at home. Service & quality of food is outstanding. I would highly recommend this spot to anyone. Thank You!!

Good eating. Superb flavor. Great lunch specials. I was happy even for a (mainly) plant based eater. They prepared a nice plate of seasonal roasted veggies for me. I did have a bite of steak and fish from friend's plates and they were both excellent. The side of brussels sprouts was to die for. Drinks were well made, with the wine and beer selection being well appointed. We were impressed and my wife has taken clients back several times. I'm always searching for the leftovers when she comes home. So good!
