The service was excellent and the food was fantastic! The gluten free options were not extensive but the wait staff was knowledgeable and the food was absolutely delicious. We enjoyed the Peri Peri Chicken and Mushrooms with Grits. I imagine it will be even better once they've completed renovations.

I came here for a networking event. The best part about this location is that is right in front of the rail. You can also come here for lunch and dinner as well. The food here is good. The Ambiance is great as well. There's an outside patio that's nice. I recommend sitting outside when it's a beautiful day out.

This place has garnered a reputation from coworkers as the place to go on the basis of one dish. That dish is the crispy brussel sprouts. And the reputation is well deserved. The sprouts' leaves are separated and fried to a crisp. It's lightly seasoned. Their fries are pretty strong. Mac and cheese is decent and a good sized portion. They have a wide selection of beers as well as a full bar. The space is spacious and staff attentive. Cost wise-pretty fair.

Visit as part of a corporate party upstairs. Good (not great) choice of craft beers in cans/bottles. Great view overlooking main St. Wings and sugar coated bacon as appetizers. A nice place, recommended.

Lovely restaurant with patio seating. Really enjoyed the crispy brussel sprouts (ate them so quickly I didn't get a pic) as well as the mushroom appetizer and buffalo burger. Nice place to meet up with friends.

This place has become my usual spot to grab lunch. The food is great and the service, although slow when I first started going about a year ago, it's definitely up to par now. I go for the food and my waitress, Heather. She's got a great personality and I welcome the fact that she knows my usual...tea, wings and deviled eggs. I might have a crush on her, but that's not the reason I would recommend this place. It's the food and the great atmosphere.

I've been to Springbok several times, the food is very good. Don't come here expecting spicy food, even if it says 'spicy' on the menu - it just means that the food has South African seasoning on it. And the cuisine is very good - flavorful, despite the lack of spice. A lot of the condiments are house-made, and bring a unique twist on what you would normally expect. The biggest drawback for me is that the kitchen and servers are both very slow. Don't come here for a quick lunch or if you have an appointment afterwards.

The rabbit stew was flavorful and delicious. The craft beer selection was varied and satisfying. Really enjoyed myself there after a long work day. Definitely will go back, and recommend it to all.

Very good bar/restaurant in downtown Houston. Excellent craft beer selection and a very good menu. We had the Buffalo Burger and fries. A little over cooked , but was still delicious. Service was also a little slow. Nice inside with plenty of tables and seats at the bar and a nice little patio in front.
