Gloria's Latin Cuisine

I came here with friends for a late lunch/happy hour. I ordered the mix pupusas. Service was fast as the restaurant was not busy during our visit. When I lived in midtown, this restaurant was one of my spots for HH margaritas, as they are solid and cheap, too! If you drive here, there is paid street parking that you can do, or you can do a valet. I don't know how much the valet is since I never use them, but that's an option if you need to park your car and street parking is out.

Gloria's never disappoints us. Every visit has always been enjoyable, great food (LOVE the bean dip, my daughter and I ate 2 bowls of the dip), and our entrees are hot and fresh. Service is awesome too. The restaurant is clean and with beautiful chandeliers and decor. No loud music in the background. We were able to hear each other conversation at the table. That's a plus! Pleasant atmosphere.

I met family and friends here on Sunday afternoon for brunch. Once we had all arrived we were seated and ordered drinks. From orange juice for the kiddies, some ice teas, a margarita and a very dirty vodka martini for me. The food all came close together and it was all hot, tasty, fresh and delicious! This was my first time visiting Gloria’s Latin Cuisine and I know I will return. The wait staff were helpful, polite and very knowledgeable in explaining dishes that we were not familiar with. Overall it was a good experience and the ambiance was great for a lazy Sunday afternoon. Can’t wait to return!

Gloria’s is hands down the best restaurant Houston has. The food was delicious, the flavors and freshness are felt, the interior design is very beautiful and the best thing is the service, the people are very friendly and mainly Andersson who treated us with great kindness and affection, made us feel at home.

Although I forgot the name of this drink due to a very good night I do remember how fast I ate it and how good it was. I enjoyed myself food wise and the ambiance was very intimate. The staff who assisted us (I forgot his name - just know he has energy you could not forget) was amazing. The drinks had to be pretty good for me to had ordered multiple. Overall, this place offers a nice experience. I can’t see myself returning soon but I can say I would recommend to anybody who would is looking for a first date spot or a group dinner destination.
