Our server was exceptional. The place was clean & not too loud, the food was okay, but for the cost, I'd have expected it to be awesome. In all honesty, my wife and I shared a quesadilla & chips & queso. I need to try more to make a better opinion - what I've said was just that, though.

I really loved it!!! I had the pleasure of eating there and it was a relaxing experience. I loved everything about the place... The food, the atmosphere, the customer service, incredible, Nina specially (I think that's her name), she was a kind person since I arrived. Definitely, I would come back again and again!

Perfectly adequate food. Though slightly bland. Even when we asked for spicier sauce for the chips, still not particularly spicy. They signature guacamole was too chunky with things and not enough actual avocado. Shrimp tacos were good. Nice service and a nice space.

Loved it here! Really good food and excellent service. Very attentive and kind staff. My family and I also really enjoyed the decoration and details of the place.

Brunch on Sunday can’t be beat! I had Tulum Tacos with scrambled eggs and chorizo for only $13. Big avocado slices! and came with salad on the side. My husband had Los Cabos Tacos. They subbed guac for the eggs since hubby can’t eat eggs. Very accommodating with wonderful service! Great place for brunch!

Great service with delicious food and a cool decorative atmosphere. They have a large patio and a small side patio with a pretty waterfall outside. The vibe feels like an old world pretty Mexico city. The 3:00 pm - 6:30 pm happy hour is good with $6 margaritas and sangrias. They also have $7 happy hour house wine. They offer happy hour "bar bites" but they must be ordered and eaten at the actual bar. I wasn't very hungry, so I ordered the roasted corn bisque soup (cup) with a side of their cilantro lime rice. The soup was wonderful and I added the rice to it for extra filling. Their rice is my absolute favorite of all Mexican restaurants. It is so different and delicious. I've been to Escalante's several times and I am always pleased with my experience. They have delicious beef fajitas I have tried in the past, and had I need hungrier, I would have ordered those again. My total for 2 white wines, 1 sangria (both happy hour prices), cup of soup and side of rice was $33.12 without tip. Excellent place for great food!

Everytime I come to town I make a point of dining here. Always fresh, friendly fast place to great a meal. Fresh chips and the salsa is just right, not to spicy or mild... perfect. See you next time I'm in town.
