I cannot say enough good things about this place! On this particular day, they were out of hot peppers and root beer but that still did not put a damper on the happy dance I preformed while consuming the entirety of that sandwich.

The sandwiches have always been good but I visited this place a few days ago and for a #5 with fries w/gravy and drink it came to almost $23 . The prices have exceed the value of what you get and the sandwich has a heavy salt flavor to it. I'm not sure if people can afford to eat here on a regular basis with cost going this high. There are many restaurants that you can eat at for half the price that serve a good lunch and many are buffets. I think they need to reevaluate their prices to come online with what they serve you. Good luck

One of the best cheesesteaks in town. I recommend the number 1 or 2. The bread is perfect, the meat is perfect, and they add the perfect amount of cheese. Wish we could sit at the bar, but it’s still not available, even years past the shutdowns. They’ve gotta open that up again soon. Location is easy to get in and out, and there’s plenty of parking. Gets very busy during lunch hours. Dinner hours, not so busy. All locations are on point really, but this is my favorite location overall.

The best Philly you'll find in Houston, buts that's it avoid fries, onion rings ect. Its all deep fry and cheap brands, only thing they need is ac, hand cut fries and better costumer service the front lady only smiles after that tip.

One of the best Philly cheese steaks I've had! Meat is tender, bread was really good, Seasoning was just right. A little pricey but worth it. Pretty hot inside but looking at reviews I can see the AC was out.

Great food, I love this place. If you want a good cheese steak, please go here. But my love has faded over the past few years. Lots of turnover recently, with several employees having what seemed to be a permanent sour mood. Was slightly overpriced 4 years ago, now it's just ridiculous. Not only are sandwiches up about 30%, they've also taken away combo options so you have to pay more for your fries and drink. Inflation and the rising cost of doing business are reasonable and understandable motives for these choices, but $4-$5 for a simple order of fries - cheese or not - or nickel and diming the combos feels a little predatory compared to previously. The a/c is often out so the customer actually experiences less overall value for the dining experience for more money nowadays.

Overall these sandwiches are a great deal. Bread to meat ratio is spot on. When I call in orders they're ready in about 10 minutes. Plenty of seating inside also. The sandwiches we have tried have all been delicious. The mozzarella sticks are amazing!

Pappa Geno’s original location has been a favorite for Philly Cheesesteak sandwiches for years. Plenty of good tasting meat, I think it ribeyes, and a good bread. It’s my favorite in town and if you are wanting a great sandwich to rival anywhere, come here. This is there Smothered Philly, I added mayonnaise.
